Great information. May be you can a video where you can utilise old phones as smart display per room. Ie kitchen , living room can just have a old smart phone attached to a wall and only shows devices in that particular room. Now a day can buy cheap second hand phone and tablets. Also lots of people have old phones which are good enough as display.

Mooi uitgelegd! Ik heb echter een issue hiermee. Ik heb de HUE dimmer (type 1) in de HUE integratie en de events vang ik dan af voor de 4 buttons. Bij een restart van HA worden de events spontaan getriggerd op alle buttons, resultaat het licht gaat aan bij een HA restart. Hoe ondervang ik dat? (msg.data.new_state.attributes.event_type is dan short_release op alle 4 de buttons)
This is a great tutorial, thank you. PROBLEM: I have the Harmony Elite remote and Roku has to be included in a running Activity to work with hassio. However, Harmony requires TV as part of this activity also and so I included Roku as a device in my Apple TV activity but then remote controls don’t work with Apple TV. How to use the harmony remote buttons to work with roku emu (hassio) in any harmony activity. Or better without any Activity
Ok. I can now create a custom Activity with Roku device only and some remote keys are detected. How can we run Roku as mapped key press sensor while running Apple TV. Essentially if we cannot use the harmony remote keys for actions in hassio then Roku Emul is pointless

i would love to see how to make an automation so that when my iphome connects to the network my porch light comes on i have been searching all over and experimenting to see if i could get this to happen

This is all very amazing, but I am currently flummoxed by the basics... I have an Ikea remo switch and want to use it to play a certain web radio station and to stop that playback again when I press a different button. I managed to get tht far with some difficulty (need to do a service call for stop, but a "media player" action to startfor some reason) but it stops working after a few hours. No clue why. Also...I have Music Assistant installed, but for ome reason can't acess that through automations...🤔

Yes, I think that is possible. Just set up multiple Emulated Rokus using different ports. You should see multiple Rokus in the Harmony app.

Another thing that is helpful is you can enter an asterisk for what to subscribe to. This will subscribe to everything.
