Great vid man. I’m a little confused why you had to pull apart the suspension components like the tie rod, axle, caliper bracket, etc. last time I did my timing belt on my srt4 I just took of the wheel and that was enough.
I just did it so I won’t have any space issues makes it easier if you can do it with out touching that then it’ll save you a little more time 👍 the axle I remove it so there won’t be any stress in it when going up and down on the engine
@@cholobuiltgarage3101 ok I get it. Removing the axle actually makes a lot of sense because I usually have to move the engine around a lot to get that stupid huge engine mount plate out. I hate that thing so much lol

So what exactly did you do to retime it? Did you take the belt off, align it again, and then just put it back on or was there another process to find the right timing?

If you’re replacing your water pump , tensioner, idler pulley it’ll help a lot more if not it can still be done
When you re did the timing did you turn the cam gears a full revolution or did you turn them back?
It was off by a little , I had to adjust both exhaust and intake cams , you can tell by the guides on top of the cam

Some one else did his timing wrong , I had to re do his timing that’s all
Yeah so after you loosened and took off the timing belt in the video, you just moved those teeth down by like one tooth and it was aligned?
