I am an avid hiker and prefer to hike alone because most other people have the inability to just be quiet and listen and observe. But I do have one good friend who I prefer as a hiking companion because we can both chill and enjoy being in nature without saying a word to each other.
@heavenlypath1065 but can you ever truly be alone? Solitude isn't that bad but you gotta have a certain special something to do it well. For most people being truly alone is literally impossible. Its more of a state of mind than anything else.
Anti means against. A ‘spiritual’ person would not be against anything. Is that not dualism? Furthermore the definition is overall negative. If we are on the spiritual path do we not try to inform each other? This was not an attack upon yourself. Words have power and influence.
Swami Sarvapriyananda is my absolute favorite. He is an intellectual giant, almost comparable to Vivekananda. So so cool to hear you mention him ❤️🔥🙏🏻
Thank you my brother and sister 🙏I was just thinking about this topic this morning. This is why it's great to have a channel like this where people can connect!
I love swamiji❤. Actually interesting for me too as I’ve been studying western philosophy and have drawn many parallels to what I’m finding in Vedanta and Buddhism. Socrates famously posited that he knows nothing. That level of humility is rare but I think necessary if we want to gain any sort of wisdom or insight.
Your practice should look like no other. There are no scriptures. There are no commandments. It is the result of your set of experiences, and what you make of them.. -Mystic teaching. That doesn't leave much room to judge the practice of another. Thank you! Great job. 🕉️💜😊
I was in a terrible car accident in high school, I was 14. Had to learn everything over., blah blah blah It was a wild ride and I learned much. Having been through the process of my brain healing, and watching life with a different perspective tickles me everyday.
Thanks again for the good one and a great reminder why it's so good to be alone, mostly🙂. Otherwise we have a whole universe, nature, animals ❤ you 2, Maharishi, Mooji. All we need. Shanti
Thank you. When you spoke of the Buddha accepting everyone my heart stopped for a moment, because I have not been able to emulate acceptance of everyone. Your teachings almost always give me pause for reflection.
Relative to each other, perhaps levels of awareness are like levels of school. Of course, a 12th grader will have more knowledge and understanding than a 1st grader. But how silly it would be for a 12th grader to look down upon a 1st grader because they are in 1st grade. After all, the 12th grader was once a 1st grader.
The Navajo or Dine` have teachings from the holy people that describes a state identical to a Buddha. Its described as someone having dominion over thought within them. This reveals a mind that is stilled knowingly and recognizes the emotion tied to images as well which leaves way for freedom from the input of our mind without getting enmeshed.
Lol, yep so true - my family think I'm weird for sure cos of my chosen path and spending so much time on my own, however, I have distanced myself from them because exactly what you have spoken of. Namaste and thank you both. 🙏🏽💜
Hey bro, thanks for everything you do! I have listened to the Avadhuta Gita 4 times and Tao Te Ching 3 times now since your channel introduced them to me! I appreciate you sharing your abundance of knowledge on Life; I have learned so much. Thank you both! Shanti shanti shanti
Now I see Family, friends running after unimportant things, all their lives. Very invested in Maya. I used😅 to also, not anymore. Can't really connect with them like before. And it feels lonely. When they ask why I just live simply I can't really explain to them. I know they won't understand why I'm no longer interested in the rat race, status and competition. And so sometimes during convo I just pretend that I'm interested 😄
Love this! But the strange thing is, the abusers feel abused. So, what to do? How to be humble to them? And can I not easily lie to myself, when telling myself that I have the holy grail inside? It's a really difficult topic! But yeah, ultimately, you can only leave them alone, I guess.
Talk for the sake of talking, people need guides, not interpretation, in the middle ages when folks could not read or write, organised religion took advantage and psychologically bullied and scared their ways into the human psyche, built " sacred spaces ', and read and interpreted how and what they saw fit an pertanant to the current times, they could have said anything at all, an frankly they made a spiritual teaching from a lovely book and bastardisesd it, and so was born the reverend and interpretation, nevertheless this is history, don't take someone's word even if they've earned it, try find out in ones own experience or look first if you can, be well ❤
With whatever you say, I feel it's all subjectivity. I personally don't feel India is at a higher level of conscience. The religion/ spirituality has degraded in the past 800 years or so....
You don't have to feel lonely in being alone. Depends on your level of self acceptance. I love being alone...never feel lonely. ❤ Was Lao Tzu actually "lonely"? Or did he simply spend most of his time alone, in contemplation, Stillness?
Life is natural. Why? Just is. No why? No shit! Justice /just is. Seems simple but, humans complicate all & everything. Wei need spiritual humanity.🕺🏼✌🏼

If you can't be alone with yourself... you're in trouble. Thank you both so much. 👍🙏☯️
Terrific! Better to be alone with Tao then to be with toxic people. Thank you for this episode!
I am an avid hiker and prefer to hike alone because most other people have the inability to just be quiet and listen and observe. But I do have one good friend who I prefer as a hiking companion because we can both chill and enjoy being in nature without saying a word to each other.
Silence is golden. Stillness is gold.
Guys Honestly, it couldn't have arrived at better timing right now. Honestly, - thank you so very much.
Alone, but never lonely.... Alone= All one, but many.
No need to pretend here friend.
Being antisocial is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformist. Just because you're alone doesn't mean that you are lonely.
Sounds like depression.
@heavenlypath1065 but can you ever truly be alone?
Solitude isn't that bad but you gotta have a certain special something to do it well.
For most people being truly alone is literally impossible. Its more of a state of mind than anything else.
Antisocial and asocial have vastly different meanings and thus negates your statement, unless you are truly psychopathic?
@@MisterMeow-vt8kl Antisocial also means not being sociable.
Anti means against. A ‘spiritual’ person would not be against anything. Is that not dualism? Furthermore the definition is overall negative.
If we are on the spiritual path do we not try to inform each other? This was not an attack upon yourself. Words have power and influence.
Thank you, you beautiful souls
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I am happy with less, and less people. Most people love being around me when I’m out, and I think its because I don’t take life seriously 😇
Every video/podcast you guys make is a masterpiece. 🙏🏼
Swami Sarvapriyananda is my absolute favorite. He is an intellectual giant, almost comparable to Vivekananda. So so cool to hear you mention him ❤️🔥🙏🏻
The togetherness of you two make me weep with compassion 😢
♥️ It's nice to be here. One with you. So nice.
Thank you my brother and sister 🙏I was just thinking about this topic this morning. This is why it's great to have a channel like this where people can connect!
❤ Great wisdom thank you.... Very much needed in this world at this time... You're both a blessing

I love to listen to your conversation, I am very appreciative you two share this knowledge.
People seem to pursue external validation

The practice of just being.🎵🕺🏼

The art of being humble is truly lost these days! "I don't know" shows integrity and authenticity. It's empowering. 💯🎯 humility is strength
Thank you Jason and Gayoung. Alethea
sage advice, as usual.

In todays age, loneliness is unfortunately taken as negative trait. Confirmity is taken as must.
I prefer to nonconformist, self reflect
I know the isolation all too well. Nagarjuna talked about having two minds.
❤❤❤
Love this!

I am missing something. how can a sentient being who knows what he is be lonely? lonely for whom? lonely for what?
Sometimes intelligence is best demonstrated by saying little or Nothing!!!

Loneliness can lead to dementia..
...or to God.
🙏
💯❤
With whatever you say, I feel it's all subjectivity. I personally don't feel India is at a higher level of conscience. The religion/ spirituality has degraded in the past 800 years or so....

Talking too much is only a sign of superficial knowledge, Lao Tzu said: 'Those who say do not know, and those who know do not say'
You don't have to feel lonely in being alone. Depends on your level of self acceptance. I love being alone...never feel lonely. ❤ Was Lao Tzu actually "lonely"? Or did he simply spend most of his time alone, in contemplation, Stillness?
You will love Tao Te Ching by Swami Bodhidharma.
I feel exactly like this... It's annoying AF...
