The few scenes where Walt and Jesse teams up is the highlight of the show for me. Despite their toxic relationship it was really fun seeing them accomplish unreachable feats together.
Jesse’s plan to escape and have Walt give up Gus to the DEA wasn’t that bad at all, guy was willing to start a new life and have Walt back to his family but of course Walt’s ego just wanted to “cook”
@@JT-qw1cnnot necessarily. The cartel don’t know about Walt and Gus wasn’t willing to let them have him, especially after the deaths of Bolsa and the Twins. DEA plan would’ve worked
@cn Cartel is not some magical organisation. All they can do is plain and simple hit. Even after they have failed to kill Hank, they did not manage to kill him when it was obvious he is the target. Gus also doesn't have more capabilities. He can threaten Walt as long as he stays in shadows. Gus is capable only of gathering very basic info about people who are not in his organisation and he can only attack by surprise. At this point Walt is not protected by the Police, that's why he is under threat. In both cases, Cartel and Gus can't do anything if they are exposed and possible target knows he is the target + he has the DEA/Police protection. Also I doubt Cartel would've even try to find Walter at this point. Gus is nothing more for them than an asset for them. If Walt talks, Gus gets arrested and his organisation is getting shut down. But that's no reason for Cartel to have vendetta. One reminder, nobody in witness protection ever get killed.
He's even less innocent when you watch Better Caul Saul. When Gus recruited him, he was actively working on making an already addictive drug even more addictive lol.

In fact all Walter's murder was about survival, it was either him or them. Tuco, Gale, Gus, prisoners, Mike. He didn't want any of that, but he had to. Could he side step all the problem? Maybe, especially early on. But then, what about his family? Who provides for them once he's gone? His lagging son, his cheating wife, or an infant? That's right, no one. Everyone says Walter is some sort of a sociopath who enjoys controlling others. But the guy just wanted normal life with a happy family and friends, at least until the whole drug business and thirst for power consumed him.
Saul Goodman is one of the greatest performances ever done in any film medium. Bob Odenkirk deserved an Emmy and I’m insulted for him that he never got one for these two series.
Really was sound advise by Jesse. This was the moment Walt could walk into the courtroom like Jimmy did at the end of BCS and get a sweetheart deal with a prosecutor of a couple years behind bars.
Are you joking? You don’t just roll on everybody, take down a whole meth empire and then still get sentenced for time behind bars. That would be the worst “deal” on the planet. When someone gives something like that up they basically get everything dropped. You thinking people are rolling on entire crews and still getting years behind bars? Simply “knocking down” a sentence is rarely ever enough or satisfying.

“i’ll go see if they have tetris or something”, saul really had the best lines in the show
Imagine Saul actually playing Tetris and start yelling at the machine
"AND THAT GOES DOUBLE FOR YOU HIP-HOP"
lmfaooo Saul is the best
If Jesse Pinkman was a black man.
I really love the lighting in this scene
Saul definitely was scared of getting his legs broken after his encounter with Tuco. Would be cool to see him play tetris
Your second sentence was quite a leap from your first sentence. 😅
With Tuco? You mean Mike?

This and the following where he calls Jesse, and Jesse's actions of loyalty is so intense. A1 writing and acting.

@@johnrex9612 Exactly. The cartel isn't gonna be able to get past the DEA. The higher ups wouldn't even attempt it.
Gale was in the game. Part of the drug trade and he paid the price. Not innocent.
Agree. Gale was about as innocent as "in the game" can be, but he was still in it. And that made him, unlike a civilian, a legitimate target.

Walt is out playing the drug game, meanwhile Jesse was spending five nights at Freddy's

I love the ambient noise and flashing light of the arcade machines while they're discussing a murder. Just such a picturesque scene.
Saul didn't play Tetris but he's definitely playing some Space Invaders if my hearing is correct
What I find weird about this scene is Saul just leaving and not helping them strategize their next move.
Almost half of these comments are people wanting to watch Saul play Tetris and I LOVE IT. It should have been a blooper or a deleted scene.
