It’s widely regarded as the most disliked episode by its fans. But we have to remember that this was a time where Skyler was unfairly hated on so much so some of the show’s criticisms have been dated and newer fans are much more forgiving of her and from what I’ve seen from re-act channels get a kick out of the fly episode.
@@HeadbangingGlory Personally I loved it. There was so much going on in the show at the time between so many characters it was very nice to have an episode that was more of a breather from all the drama and just dialog between Walter and Jesse. I liked how the episode expressed Jesse and Walter’s relationship.
Breaking bad first episode: "Jesse and Walt kill two men and set a fire in the middle of the desert while making drugs" Breaking bad season three random episode: "Jesse and Walt spend a whole day trying to kill a fly"
It's funny how Walter couldn't let himself to work neither with Grey Matter, nor with Gus, even if both of these business would have bring wealth to him and his family. He just wanted to be the man at the core of everything and his ego destroyed all he worked hard for. This is some sort of a curious and funny irony, isn't it ?
He didn't want to let go of the one thing he thought he had control over. Simple sanitation and producing a quality product as he's walking on egg shells surrounded by killers who would off him in any second if the product doesn't meet their standards. At this point, Walt was Gus's prisoner.
Gilligan is working on a potential spin-off series, set in an alternate reality in which Walt and Skyler took Saul's advice and invested in the Laser Tag business. He's calling it ... tentatively ... "Lasing Tag." Basically the business becomes so successful that Walt is able to get out of the meth business completely, hires Jesse to run the operation, and they all live happily ever after. Well, until Walt dies of cancer, obviously.
"You can't order shit, Adolf!"
One of the best quotes in the show 😂
The way Walter showed up actually scared me lol
thanks for the warning
I laughed so hard I swear Walter was around too many fumes this episode 🤣
I don't care what people say about this episode, Walt swatting Jesse was hilarious
My theory is Walter was around too many meth fumes from the night before and he was contact high in this episode 😂😂
That's very plausible. I've done (in retrospect) some really weird stuff as a result of residual intoxication.
People are too hard on this episode. So many sad and stressful things were going on and it was nice to have a break between it all.
People don’t like this episode? This is honestly one of my favorite episodes.

Bravo, vince
That fly was put there by the Salamancas to try to derail Gus's cook operation. It almost worked!
Meanwhile Gus is just looking at these two idiots fumble around
Turns out it was a small remote controll fly. This is how Gus passed the time at home
this was before the cameras.
Why is there a raisin in there lol
Probably from Gale's vegan meals or something lol.
Raisin us dead fly is alive

“Walt’s a scientist, scientists love lazers👨🏻🔬🤷🏽♂️❗️”
Goddamn if they just took Saul’s advice🤣🤣
One of my favorite episodes next to, “4 days out.”

“Let’s talk about the state of this lab, don’t you have standards?”
1:11 😅
Why is Sony posting clips with fucked up audio
lol "One".. SMACK!
Walt definitely snuck in an F bomb
They were allowed one per season
Woaaa~ slowly 😂😂😂
Trivial comment: Jesse looks so much better with hair. He looked like a completely different character in El Camino
wtf ? he's not bald in camino, its just shorter.
Fly was a great episode
This was the only horrible episode I remember being pissed rushing home to see it on AMC when it was new
Not surprised to see why "The Fly" is the worst episode of Breaking Bad.
Great video, nonetheless!
Who is the instigator?
The fly, obviously ... who was clearly a Salamanca plant.
