I swear, cps needs to make welfare checks on kids every 6 months or something to keep this crap from happening over and over again. This shite happened to me in the 2000s and here we are over 10 yrs later and history repeats itself 😔

I was a foster mom. I was astounded at the abuse these kids suffered under the “care” of their parents. Starvation, cigarette burns and bruises, black eyes, mange type skin like abused dogs get. It’s disgusting ! I think parents like that, should be locked up for life ! 😡
Agreed, CJ. I recently adopted my son. His bio parents should have been sterilised after what they did to him.
Every child deserves parents, but not all parents deserve children.

I have found a great counselor (finally - I went through a few of them who were not a good fit), and I have a faith that carries me and gives me peace through life’s storms. Flashbacks are hard, though, and I’m really sorry that you go through this.

You're right it's hard I raise my 4-year-old I'm 58 his mom could get he anytime and she was a good mother otherwise I'm have he I know it's because of the boyfriend she has I can see he doesn't how any feelings for my baby that's why I have he because if they had him and hurt him baby I will be there I'm in all my grandchildren lives I know what is going on with they can't come up missing it's strange no one in that family asked about that child it very sad that they closed themselves off I very thankful to God I one who prays for the world the bed of it we all should The Lord is moving in this world we see every day the healing love and the strength we all do have when someone has treated us horrible I thank God our Lord

My 3 year old is 36 pounds and he is slim this is beyond insane he has to be close to skeletal.
@@rosegold3059 I'm actually amazed this boy had the strength to walk to seek food and safety. A few more days and he might not have been able to do so. I just checked with my son because his daughter is ten [slim but athletic] and she's about 69lbs. This boy must have been so desperate, but also so mentally strong to do what he did, and I hope his health and future will be secure before too long.

I’m hoping that’s not the case…but if he’s not with a relative and/or they refuse to tell authorities where he/she is, then that’s probably the case.

I can’t believe that these people are living in this big ass house and you can clearly see that they haven’t missed any meals and they’ve got the horrific nerve to starve these poor kids this way. I’m so glad that God gave this little boy the strength to get out of that horrible house and go for help. Thank God for the neighbor who alerted authorities and I sincerely pray that the older boy is alive, safe and well.
I always wonder how many homes that look perfectly normal have captive children/people inside. I think we’d be surprised at the amount of unknown suffering that goes on and it’s truly disgusting and terrifying! What a brave little boy! I’m so glad someone found him and helped him.

I saw a very disturbing YT video about a hacker who came across a website where parents are putting their own children up for sale or rent either for video porn or sexual entertainment in front of the parents. I couldn’t finish the video. But the hacker dude needs an award for busting that ring.
I'm sure it's a lot more than most people think. My father was in the military & was very abusive ... physically, mentally, emotionally, & sexually. My mother was mentally & emotionally abusive. Every morning before leaving for school, my father told my brother & me "Don't you tell anyone what goes on in this house". As soon as I could, I left... I've not seen or spoken to either of my parents in 30-years. Both my brother & I have PTSD & struggle with depression as a result.

I was abused by a parent, not as badly as this.. but badly. And I love them, they have passed now and I do hope they have peace now. Not excusing or excepting the behaviour as I am a damaged adult….It is horrible and very difficult when hurt people hurt people.

My almost 4 year old weighs 45lbs, he's as tall as a six year old and is by no means chubby or anything if the sort. It's unfathomable to imagine a 10 year old weighing less than him, I have an 8 year old as well... It just leaves me speechless.

As the mother of 3 boys, 20, 18, 15, and one daughter, 12, I am nauseous, disgusted, and angry about this case! How? Just how could anyone do this?! I would starve and my husband would starve before our kids went hungry! Maybe they weren't their biological kids, but they had a duty to these kids and failed the 10 year old and possibly killed the 14 year old. Good for the neighbor not sending him back, listening, believing, and calling the police!

Unfortunately, this kind of abuse is probably much, much more common than anyone realizes. Lucky for this kid that he escaped.

When you as a neighbor, teacher or healthcare professional realize a child is being abused, report it . Children should be lively, play , laugh and have fun. If your neighbors children or child is not doing this you should be concerned. I will never understand a mother who carries a child for 9 months and abuses them. Its very cruel for a child to understand why the first people they are supposed to trust would treat them poorly.
You are so right. You can see abuse in a child, human, dog, cat, immediately. There is no joy in them.
Yup I'm a mandated reporter, I'm definitely telling. I only had to do it once and that child is definitely doing better. How do you watch that and not do something? Especially when they are brazen with it, clearly some people don't know right from wrong.
Getting CPS to act can sometimes take an excruciatingly long time. My coworkers reported on a mother who was prostituting her middle school aged daughters for a year before the girls were removed from the home.
The neighbours didn’t know he was 10 years old. They thought he was much younger based on his size. I’m guessing the kid was home schooled. There’s no way staff at a school wouldn’t have reported it.

They said somewhere else that 5 kids where a family members they got custody of so since it was custody transfor the state did no checks. The 14 yr old is with his bio mother and 19 yr old brother who ran away from this same house in 2021 the bio mom said. Her bio son is 21 and works with them and is watching the house and smiled when the news came to the house saying he wasn't close with the situation just watching the house so he had no comment the whole thing is insane 0:36 .

This is just heartbreaking. This is about the 3rd-4th video I’ve seen on RUclips this past week and i just don’t understand how parents can be so cruel to their very own children, it’s just sickening and selfish to be so negligent.

They were obviously home schooled. There needs to better protection for children that are home schooled as a lot of abuser hide this way. There need to be random site visits or the children should have to check in once a year with a education consultant.

I have the sweetest, friendliest most adorable little two-year-old baby boy ever and any time we go out somewhere he loves to stick his fist up to fist-bump everybody and say hi and most people will give him a little fist bump and laugh with him and tell him how cute he is and he just giggles and thinks it's the best thing ever but there's a small few you look him in the eyes and then just walk right on past them and in that second that I see that my heart absolutely breaks and I feel like I could actually cry if I didn't hold it together just at the thought of that possibly hurting his feelings. He never seems to give it much thought though he just keeps it moving and tries again with the next person but just the thought of someone hurting his little bitty feelings tears me up inside. So it's unfathomable to me that parents can do these types of things to their own children

My mom did this to me. Im still starving but trying my best to take care of myself. Its hard though when your stranded someplace you don't know.
