Fun video, loved the stand up comics! And the pics of Shrewsbury - especially the grainy b&w spookiness! But not too historical lol - St Alkmunds church was dismantled and rebuilt in the 18th C with its spire; Henry Tudor House was the clue for the battle of Bosworth Field where Henry Tudor’s Welsh troops defeated and deposed king Richard the third.

Used to work in the hairdressers by Shrewsbury Library. Haunted as hell!
There was cellar of the hairdressers used to be full of paranormal activity.
The Library is haunted too.
The old ENT by the quarry is haunted too. My grandmother used to work there and the staff used to be pushed on the staircases..

The incident at the Railway Station to which you refer occurred on January 8, 1887 in the station yard. At about 3.30 p.m., William Heath (69) was searching for a cab, when the veranda over the cab stand was torn away from the wall under the weight of snow, and he was killed on the spot. The cab men had moved away from the stand owing to the danger. However, one cab was badly damaged and the horse slightly hurt. The entrance to the station was at platform level at this time and the yard sloped up to the station frontage on made up ground.

Have just come across some of your videos, a friend of mines father used to rent the flat above the nags head, the painting on the inside of the door is of an old medieval soldier stood on top of a dragon from what I remember, it's rumoured the painted has been painted over on numerous occasions but over time reappears..
But I've seen it a few times years ago and I'm still here 😂

Also around the toilets, I have heard footsteps which I was told was the Matron of the old RSI. The Judge is in Chambers Restaurant which is part of the Prince Rupert Hotel.

@@BrendanExplores My Pleasure, I assume you live in Shrewsbury? Also the old nursing home next to the old rsi is supposed to be haunted too. Used to play in the basement area before being turned into flats years ago, I am 45 now, it was so spooky, but I suppose as a child it would have been x

The battle the soldiers were on their way to was thr battle of bosworth. Henry tudor and his army came through Shrewsbury and then went on to defeat Richard III at Bosworth before he became king.

Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre is in Nuneaton. 15th century. 22nd August 1485 Henry Tudor brought a small rebel army to face a much larger royal army of King Richard the 3rd.
Really interesting stories Kurt, I hope you do more of them! You do live in a beautiful area, the architecture is stunning. The Battle of Bosworth Field was a famous battle during the War of the Roses in August 1485. It is not that far from Shrewsbury about an hour and a half drive away. Could be a video for you to do with Kurt, Brendan? Best Wishes 💕
