My favourite decepticon from the movies I love that he is basically the dirty bad cop and always slips away pretty much the only deception that hasn’t died but I wish this figure had Frenzy but aw well

But in all seriousness, this figure DOES look amazing. However, I _really wish_ it came with Frenzy. I wouldn't even mind an unpainted HA Frenzy that doesn't interact with the figure. Still good.

Optimus Prime that would be gigantic! I mean blackout is bigger than optimus in the film (evidence can be seen from his reuse animation model, grindor, who towers over prime that prime have to climb on his back just to decapitate him)
We're getting a completely new Studio Series Leader Class Blackout. Very accurate to the first movie version.

I just received my copy of this figure today. The shoulders lock in just fine for me. I’m guessing yours may have a defect, or it just might be loose. The shoulders in mine are actually quite tight!

toyhax has the 911 and 643 reprolables for the old 07 barricade if you didnt get the permium series barricade since that one had them along with the windows painted too

I'm sure you know this by now, but I just got him and realized if you rotate the shoulders first, the hood locks them in place.

Is That figure better than a mane line figure? I am asking, because I don‘t have any mpm figures.
There is supposed to be a shoulder lock, below the shoulder hinge there is a grey plastic part, that is above the rest of the black metal, this part is pressed when the shoulder rotates and should support the assembly in robot mode, but due to the way the figure is assembled doesn't work that well, on my copy one shoulder gets to stay somewhat solidly and the other doesn't. I think theres no way to fix it because it is assembled with pins

I consider the ability to go BLLLRRRRRGH! to be vital in a quality piece.
This thing bears the weight of the more extreme design language present in the bayformer aesthetic. I can honestly see why people looking at this would be turned off; it is radically different than what we're used to with Transformers.

im always unsure about buying mpm figures as i never know if there just old leaderr class figures given a spanking new paint job to try and get 1 over on us by giving us a lazy redo of an old figure like starscream

I have old buster prime and hasbro rotf prime and 2007 leader prime and the mpm i have is similar to rotf leader prime and buster prime mold but more transformation step its just similar but different mold with more details more movie accurate more paintjob articulation and have diecast parts.
my human alliance jazz and my mpm jazz are whole different molds same with my mpm barricade and human aliance barricade.
My friend you can buy old leader class figures 2 times cheaper on ebay than mpm fugures or with the same price. I love my buster prime but the mpm prime I must say he is verry movie accurate same with jazz or barricade.. i have lot of bayverse figures but just 3 mpms because i start collecting them this year. I bought jazz and optimus but barricade i own for many years but back in time i didnt collect mpm versions.
You speaking about the old mpm starscream who was just redeco of hftf starscream. I own hunt for the decepticons orininal leader scream but the new mpm starscream is new mold. You must go with the fact that dotm deluxe class starscream, studio series starscreeam and mpm starscream are similar to hftf mold because hftd mold was great but mpm ss etc.. are more improvement. Same like old rotf leader and buster prime and novadays mpm prime

Of course if it happened in the movies, Prowl woulda shown up & then, well the writers probably wouldn't think TWO police Autobots would be useful, so they'd figure out a way to kill him off..😣😢 It would suck cuz then we couldn't maybe get a "discount Red Alert" combiner..
