And now, I can honestly call these type of toys as "Statue-formers"... they look amazing, but you just transform them once and leave them in that mode...
Clearly the intent with this toy was to make the transformation as complex as an actual Bayformer.
Transforming it in under fifteen minutes from one mode to the other and back, gets you two things: an application form from MENSA and an associate's degree from your local community college.
The fact emgo was able to get the tabs together in vehicle mode is a goddamn miracle.
If toyworld would actually consider giving you CLEARANCE to work with the damn thing, the transformation might actually be enjoyable.
There's one thing I noticed (especially with 3rd party figures), the better "looking" figures are usually more difficult or more time consuming to transform. But the ones that don't look as "nice" are usually easier and more fun to transform. It's a little interesting.
Wow I am now convinced that emgo is the most skilled "transformer" youtuber (As in someone who is able to transform super complicated things). He's the only reviewer I've seen that's been able to actually transform this figure fully into truck mode. He's also the one who was able to get the best results out of the mpm ironhide mould so def the king

The price-difference of almost $100 didn't escape me, but it was mostly the chest proportions and the truck mode that pushed me toward Unique Toys. Toyworld has really earned their reputation for selling nice-looking but cheaply made houses of cards ever since they decided to release a 'Perfect Edition' Constructor which still sometimes breaks in the box.
I appreciate the fact that he was one who made some compromises for little the sacrifice over the integrity
As good as this looks, I think I'll be sticking with my Challenger. At least he's fun to transform 😂
