Any questions on play style or advanced strategy etc etc we can be seen in sad Buffalo NY (Bills loss to Cinci still hurts) Tuesday through Saturday on twitch playing the adventure live. We love nothing more than people asking questions in studio. side note, anyone named Parkhill in NS is a family member of mine.
I freaked out when I saw it and posted! Then saw your comment and remembered that Jeff indeed wears a ring lol and promptly deleted my now over-reactionary comment 🤣
Very nice haul! I never should have passed on the kickstarter for Dwellings of Eldervale. Now I'm waiting for the reprint, and it's taking forever. Looking forward to all the future content as you two explore your awesome acquisitions!
I got the chance to play Holly Jolly after/around Christmas time and it was a solid little card game! The group we played with played, and then immediately set it up and played again. Definitely a fun little game to check out!
I have played The Grizzled and Bohnanza! I've also seen a group play Alice is Missing! I won't say anything, so I don't ruin them for you, but I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to them.
I have a love/hate relationship with seeing and hearing about all these games. Several more added to my wishlist that I will spend too much money on and then not play enough times even thought they are great. Glad to see Robin of Locksley. I got that game a couple years ago and we really enjoy it. Fast, simple play, but fun. Feels great to complete 4, 5, 6 objectives in one turn, then the opponent hits on just the right things and they cruise past. Really would like to see more objective tiles for it, but we still pull it out from time to time.
Woohoo! I’m so excited for you guys to have a copy of Bohnanza. That was one of the OG games that got me into board games, its such a fun group game. I love these hauls, y’all always get the most unique collections of games so its fun to hear about all of the interesting games out there
Love the art in both Sea, Salt and Paper and Bamboo (haven't played) as well as Kohaku (have played). For the latter, you might want to get your hands on a deluxe copy because the acrylic tiles are oh, so satisfying. Am eager to try Bamboo!
ohh...muhhh....geerddd...how did you get dwellings of Eldervale!!! I've been searching for that one for awhile. I've got notifications in for several different vendors on that one. so jelly. Have an amazing time with The Godfather. It's probably one of my top 5 all time favorite games. Every time we play it's a blast. I feel like you need to have watched the Godfather movie at least a few times to really appreciate the game fully. It's so good.
OMG!! You guys will love Bohnanza! One of my favorite games! It combines the resource trading and negotiation of games like Catan and Chinatown with the locked hands of Scout, so the only way to rearrange your hands is to trade. SO SO GOOD! But, two players does not do this game justice. Highly recommend 4 and higher. You can get away with three but sometime games can drag out if people aren’t trading often.
That's so many games. Dwellings Legendary Edition was the first KS I backed. The Clone Wars is one I definitely want, heard good things about it, and might make me like the Pandemic system more.
People!! Ladies and Gentlemen I should say! Subscribe to this Channel! There just so great to listen to! And don’t be Shy Spread the love ❤️ and give them a like 👍 these guys rule! Much ❤ and respect ✊ to your channel. Liked every single video so far! And continue to do so!!! 😊
What a haul! I am STUNNED that you've never played Bohnanza. Blasphemy. Town 66, Longboard, and Friday now added to my list - going hard for small box games in 2023. P.S. Jeff it is your turn in our Sea, Salt, & Paper game on BGA, you LIAR :P
We loved Loose Caboose. The only draw back I need to figure out is the whole we mainly had one card in out hand to play with most of the turns. So not many choices when it came to choosing a card to place. I would love to know what you think about Space Mountian when you play it.
Thanks for this video, enjoyed it as always and I now have three more games for my list of potential purchases. I’m a sucker for colourful games with fun themes, so it was hello to Maui, Retrograde and Gasha 🙂 I recently got Bullet as it fits with the colourful and fun theme combo - only played it without a timer so far and it’s already stressful!
So many great games! I’ve played Kohaku close to 10 times since Christmas. It’s become a go to for us when we just want a lighter game that still requires some thinking. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try the other 25th Century games and I’m also curious about Robin of Locksley and the two Devir games!
We just played Robin of Locksley. Was a very light “race” type game where you’re trying to complete different tasks to move ahead on the track. Was enjoyable!
Tortuga 2199 is an amazing deckbuilder/area majority game that I love and has terrible component quality. It’s great, but the cards need to be sleeves because they wear out FAST. They’re weird sized though, because of course. Great art on them though!
I never was able to finish Friday once in like 50 attempts. Never even got close to winning. So I sold it. 😬 The mechanism works fine but I just got so frustrated.
Kinghill is really good. Perfect worker placement game for 2p. Unlike the usual light 2p games, this is a really well designed 2p strategy game! Bohnanza is really good! Teaches you to be strategically generous. Giving away cards and setting your hand right is so much better than constantly forced to harvest early. Great design! Blood Rage! Dunno where I heard they might do 2nd edition of it. Haha. Really not sure if it’ll happen. Dwellings of Eldervale is special. It’s my real first big big box! Haha. Beautiful. I’ve also never played any pandemic games… just don’t like the theme… but the Clone Wars really intrigues me. Would play that too! 7 Wonders Edifice allows for co-op game of 7 Wonders if I’m right. Been so long since 7 Wonders did any expansions for their OG. Such a huge haul. Seems like work to play all these games. Haha
The title Velonimo combines 2 French words: Vélo (bicycle) and Animaux (pronounced ANIMO - plural of animal), so « Velo-nimo ». Great job and cheers from Quebec! 😊
i traded the godfather, i already have bloodrage that time,,its too light for our group,,its fun tho its like a nxt level gateway game ,easy to teach for new gamers or non gamers
I’m interested in Undaunted. That looks really good. And didn’t know there was a prequel to the Manhattan Project games. I have the original and Energy Empire. Just curious. I know your collection has grown exponentially over the past couple of years. Approximately how many base games and expansions make up your collection? It’s quite impressive.
@@FostertheMeeple was just interested in an approximation. I’ve been watching your haul videos and the rebuild of your gaming room and shelves in your basement. Really nice collection.
Oink can be a bit hit or miss bit I do like the sound of Town 66. Friday, Bohnanza and Blood Rage are stone cold classics, love them. Friday has a nice app which handles all the card manipulation, so I recommend trying that if you can.
I won my first 2 games of Final Girl (both Frightmare), which makes think I'm doing something wrong, but it's a solo game so no one is there to tell me so. =/
It's a go women video! votes for women and retrograde. I want to try Bamboo! Jamie you can fit more games in your shelves if you make another board game Christmas tree
“This is a pop-up spooky game about being spooky and popping up.” Well, I’m sold. 😊
I love your board game hauls!! I’m living bicuriously through you guys 😁
EDIT: **VICARIOUSLY** hahaha I’ll leave it because it’s funny tho 😂
I mean, autocorrect is never wrong now is it? 😏
Hahaha this was amazing.

You are wearing a ring Jamie!! I was wondering why Jeff had one but not you! It is because you are NOT painting today? 😂
Bling bling!!!

Yay! Glad to see you were able to get Robin of Locksley so fast! Currently ranked at 2612 which is a crime!
We enjoyed it! Like more than a love but was a good time

Good to know!! Thanks James!
Kohaku is great and really beautiful if you have the acrylic tiles
I don’t think we do but have heard they are awesome!

Ooh, Alice is Missing sounds incredibly intriguing. I will definitely check that one out.
Definitely recommend looking into it more!
I like how you are both wearing black and white; it brings out Jamie’s pink hair and Jeff’s blue hat :)
Haha thank you!!
Happy to see you guys getting Bullet
We had a lot of fun with it!
So many good games!! I want to try The Grizzled. Also love you guys
Love you Joshua

A lot of good looking stuff. I picked up the Star Wars Pandemic a few weeks back but haven’t tried it yet.
I like the little droids :)
Great video. Your preference between Dwellings vs Andromeda's Edge would be cool.
We just discovered Bohnanza and love it! Such a great game
Excited to try it!

Rio Grande is still very much in business. They published Beyond The Sun, and will be putting out the expansion later this year.
Beyond the Sun expansion?!?!? Yeeeeeeesssss
Thanks!

You should check out Bohnanza Duel. Very good 2 player version!
I got Friday a few months back and i loved it!
Also I played like 4 games and won one, but ive also never won final girl.
Wow I legit just bought Power Plants! Craziness :)
Hope you enjoy it!

All those books are the players narratives and story choices. Pretty crazy
What is the game behind Jeff’s head that’s yellow and red?
Quickity Pickity from Oink games

In 2022, I think you acquired 350% more games than me and somehow only managed to play like 40% as many unique games as me lol. #humblebrag
Moving houses twice might have something to do with it. Proud of you!
