Never leave a child in a hot car

Did you know your child's body temperature rises 5 times faster than yours? If a child is left alone in a hot car, it can mean heatstroke or death in a matter of minutes. Turn your cell phone off and place it or your purse on the back seat to help you remember to check the back before you leave the vehicle. If you see a child left alone in a vehicle, call 9-1-1 immediately.
Remember it's NEVER OK to leave your child in the care. In summer heat, "I forgot" can be a fatal mistake.
