It hppened because in tennis you have to make sure the racket is in line but in cricket you have to make sure your body is in the line of ball
Not just that, in tennis hit area is much close to hand but in cricket it is narrow and hit area is much far from hand, so with racket it generally easy to hit

But for the last decade or so, India has been the best and most consistent team across all formats.

I thought Dickett’s shot that led to his dismissal was very strange. It’s one thing to have positive intent but to play such a shot against one of the best pacers when the ball is reversing quite a bit was very odd.
Look closely , by hiw much he missed with the cricket bat. His timing was perfect, but they way he middles thing is different with racket and he applied that intuitively and it didn't connect as expected.
