WOW 139 years of Ranching and continued from generation to generation in theBlack Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming! Congrats on the birth of Silas the Next Generation of farming/ranching!!!
This is to the new parents. I,m sure the clean fresh country air is good for the boy! The john deere knit cap is just rite for a farm baby congratulations !
Silas is an adorable little chunk. Little dude looked tired and needed more sleep. He will grow fast so take the time while you can, before you know it he will be walking and talking and you will wish he would shut up and sit down for a minute. lol. The videos you take of Silas are not just fun now but when he is a teenager he will likely enjoy watching himself in video. I hope you guys get some sleep. Stay safe and healthy.
I had the privilege of riding horseback across the Tallgrass Prairie, Osage County, Oklahoma with one Mr. Ben Johnson in 1994. Nicest man anyone could ever want to meet. He reflected on the future of cattle ranches like yours and how he enjoyed watching little kids who got to live such lives. Later at home, I wrote down every word he'd said in the five hours I was blessed to spend with him. But I will never forget the look on his face as he talked about the future of cattle ranches in America. Silus, I pray that you listen to your mama and papa. They will teach you right, all the lessons you need to know to grow and be the best at whatever you choose. I hope you love the life of raising cattle. Welcome to the light. Silus (is that the right spelling?) looked like your dad, Carson, the day you filmed his first outing to see the cows. Of course, he has probably changed in looks a dozen times since then. Thank you for sharing him with us. Hello Damaris! You did good sweetie. A healthy baby boy! I like the drone vids so much where we can see the land and sky as well as the animals and you folks. I appreciate the genius of Temple Grandin in your chutes, corrals, alleys, and bowls. Thank you all for raising beef to feed people. Thank you for sharing your lives.
Im SO happy for you both! SIlas looks as though he ready to ranch already. LOL! Damaris, bless you with SLEEP and rest my dear. Being a Mom and a wife is the most demanding job but also the very very best one. Hugs to you all!!
He’s a lucky little boy. I wish I would of grew up in a ranch. Maybe some day I’ll get back out permanently to the west, but till then, thanks to guys like you we can live the ranch life virtually through you. (And we don’t have to work in the cold) 😅
Great to have an update. Please never stop making videos. My happy place. Good to see you three so happy and enjoying the true blessings of your Father. You are inspirations!
Congratulations again!! The best is yet to come. When he starts recognizing you and responding, that is sooo much fun, and it just gets better from there, as a parent.
What a joy to see first thing this morning. Sweet boy!! Damaris looking amazing. Awesome Sleep Ranch hat for Silas. Now you need to take a 4 generation picture of the Sleep ranchers now that Silas is here. What a blessing that is!! Would be cool to see. No pressure to share though. At least have it for yourselves. You look good as a new daddy. Congratulations to the new parents.
Wow Silas is a cutie! Glad him and Mom are both doing well and can't wait to watch him grow. The drone footage is awesome and thats crazy that it literally froze up. God bless and stay warm.
Hello again from my part of NC. Burr, looks cold and your little one just didn't seem to mind at all. What a great life he will have on the ranch just as you did growing up there. Thanks for taking us along on another cattle journey. Pretty quiet here. Biggest thing to happen around here was a group of kids protesting healthy snacks as stocking stuffers.
Awwww…..he looks all warm and cozy…. Such a handsome little guy….Missed your videos but I understand being new parents…So happy for you both…I’m sure he’ll love the ranch life..Right now he’s resting and growing…I love the name Silas… Take care and enjoy.
Thank you for sharing Silas with us, I have a feeling he will follow his daddy’s footsteps in ranching. Very cool drone footage! Congratulations on reaching 20K!!
Welcome Silas May you always know you are loved . May the light of Jesus always light your pathway. Congratulations once more to mother and father. Carson loved the drone footage. How many head did y’all process that time? Keep up the good work . Winter is here be careful and be blessed.
Hey Carson, Congratulations on your son and to you and Damaris, he's very precious. I'm finally caught up on all your videos it's been a long fall for getting things done. It's hard to believe I'm only two weeks from starting to calve again, I guess you're having some early calves also. Take care.
Congratulations, a new chapter in life that does not have an ending! Be sure to enjoy every moment to the fullest. Jesus can help with this! God bless!
Hey Carson. Somas is so adorable. Congratulations to you and Demaris. You both are going to be such awesome parents. Can’t wait to see that boy grow and show them cattle who’s boss lol. Did I hear your dad say you had wind gusts in the 80s and 90s. Is so that’s wild. If that were here we’d have trees done everywhere. Anyways God bless you all. As always your brother in Christ John
Hi Carson, nice to see the footage of you and Silas having some bonding time and bringing him around the cows. The drone footage you were able to get of working the cows was great. Good to see the view from above of the shoot and seeing the cows released after being worked. Being from Indiana were it is pretty flat, always enjoy seeing all of the hills in the landscape in your surroundings. Before you know it, calving season will be here and all the excitement that goes along with it.
Congratulations on reaching 20K, this channel so deserves it. Damaris and all ladies are a different breed when it comes to being tough, up and about so soon. That little man will be soon helping out on the ranch LOL. Stay safe.
Beautiful baby...such chubby cheeks. Brr looked chilly working the steers and then the remote stated I'm done...lol. The drone shots are great hope they are not only a 3 season addition to your fine videos. Good luck. Stay as warm as possible.
