The best thing for everyone would be for Sadiq Khan to sue Lee Anderson for slander, as it would be slander IF Lee Anderson’s claims are untrue. That way a court can decide if the claims have any basis in reality or not. Khan and Anderson could also make an agreement publicly that if Lee Anderson wins, Sadiq resigns as Mayor of London, but if Sadiq wins, Lee Anderson resigns as an MP. Fairest way to settle it and get to the truth is in court.
I wouldn't want to rely on a courts decision these days. From what I have seen in the news recently they are full of appeasing liberal lefties.
