I have been on everything topic and oral antibiotics. After 10 years and my derm wants to put me on isotretinoin 20mg per day. I'm scared, I'm 30 years old and I'm scared of accutane since it causes infertility and I already have short periods... Acne really took a toll on my mental health

After using antibiotics on and of for 4 years now.i have finally decided to take accutane. But yeah I made this decision after having all my kids at 29 now .I would not risked taking it during or between having kids because one of my cousin took it and at some point in her life she had a baby with no head . I know it might not be related to accutane as she took it years ago before having the baby .but still .😅

Food is overrated as a link with acne. I have cystic acne, I don't eat dairy, gluten, rice, foods in high glycemic index, fried food. I make everything myself except for the exception of vegan kefir (dairy free I'm not vegan), kimchi, pickles. I eat fruits, veggies, meat. Yeh and my cystic acne is not better and now I have an eating disorder.
