I never thought of heating it up and taking the lens off.
If you don't UV varnish the acrilic glass, it will fade to yellow in one year. And there is no guarantee that is was properly glued back together and keep it protected from water going back in. Other than that, great polishing skills.

Diese Aufbereitung ist definitiv nicht permanent, da durch das Abschleifen der oberen Lackschicht der UV-Schutz entfernt wurde. Durch das nicht auftragen einer neuen Lackschicht fehlt dieser UV-Schutz permanent das heißt dass der Scheinwerfer höchstens ein Jahr schön aussieht

I once pay 6.5 usd to a similar guy for cleaning 2 head lights and all 4 brake lamps of toyota corolla 2004 ....the headlight he clean is also of same car......

Looks great ... till water gets inside. He needs to seal all around as original and not just metal clips holding it together ...
I was thinking the exact same thing. He just needs to add some high quality silicone caulking to the outer bead and it would seal and glue all at the same time

Yeah, have no idea why he did took it apart. Wasnt water or fog inside. Just polishing it and done. You touching this ultra sensitive light reflection coating then never will be the same reflection.

Cleaned the plastic and also introduced condensation inside.
Actually for some cars this method works, albeit maybe he should have taken more mercy on the reflectors. Wonder what he was spraying on the chrome trim?

@@balsonnaoshekpam5680 So let me explain you mistakes what he did during his repair/refurbish of that headlights.
1st and the most serious, he polished and waxed headlight plastic. It looks nice, but will last not longer than half a year. Then it will look the same like before. Wax will take off within 1st month and then the plastic don't have any UV protection anymore.
2nd he absolutely didn't care about to seal headlight. After first rain it become foggy and can cause rust of internal metalic parts what can damage connector pins so lights will stop work.
3rd he resprayed chrome parts with some cheap silver spray. This is just a problem of look, luckily he didn't spray also reflective parts what could make them totally useless.
