  • Welcome, motion capture enthusiasts, to this in-depth video on cleaning up MoCap data obtained from Plask to use in iClone 8.
In the world of animation and virtual production, motion capture technology has revolutionized the way we bring characters and creatures to life. Plask Software has been a game-changer in this realm, offering cutting-edge tools to capture motion from a pre recorded video to use in any animation software.
However, as many of you may know, the raw data captured by any MoCap system can sometimes be less than perfect. Noise, jitter, footsliding and outliers can hinder the true potential of your recorded performances.
That's where the process of data cleanup comes in - an essential step that elevates the quality and realism of your animations, making your characters move seamlessly and naturally on the screen.
In this video, we'll explore the common issues faced while dealing with raw MoCap data and dive into the precise techniques within iClone 8 to clean up and optimize your motion capture data.
Together, we'll discover how to fine-tune your MoCap data, achieve accurate results, and ensure your animations perform flawlessly.
Whether you're an animator, game developer, or filmmaker, mastering the art of MoCap data cleanup will unleash the full potential of your creative projects.
So, let's dive in! Get ready to enhance the realism of your animations and take your motion capture projects to the next level.
Thank you for joining us, and happy animating!

Is there a way to smooth out the slight wobble that sometimes sneaks into camera motion tracking? I mean like a full body wobble, as opposed to just fixing the character's pose or limb positions...
(Thanks for an amazing and helpful tutorial, by the way)

Oh wow didn't know you do webinars. If you could make a tutorial on how to create a 2D style look in iClone, I'd appreciate it. The one from the Reallusion RUclips channel was too fast for me.

Wow! That Foot Sliding is a menace! Good to see how it can be cleaned up. I still can't help but wonder if the actors doing the motions can't just try again but be more careful in recording their moves? Also, Tristan, I was wondering Where can I find all of your old iClone 7 Videos? I know one time I was watching your videos for iClone 7? Any suggestions? Thanks. Terry Oh, And Thanks Kia For your input From Reallusion.

Found your channel. Very interesting. I’ve abandoned Daz3D for three years now, I decided to return to visual novels 18+, I’m studying what’s interesting in this area now. That dude in realusion speaks quickly, but your manner of speech is better for me to perceive. ESL(eng.second lang.) is here :). Could you make a video telling what iclone8 is, what add-ons you recommend (in particular for novels 18+), what functions, as I understand it, you can sculpt the mesh a little, motion capture from films, animation, etc. I would like to understand what this program is about and its capabilities. And what models we can use here, for example from Daz3D etc.?
    P.S.: Subscribe. Like.
