Hi what i will need to buy to capture face . hand and fingers motion for sign language capture purposes , please advise which software and hardware to animate it as 3D character
There isn't a way to exclude the rest of the body when recording, but you can always just not include those bones when retargeting and the effect should be the same - only the hands and arm animation will be transferred to your character.
@@RokokoMotion Thank you. I actually emailed Rokoko Support and they helped me find the perfect solution for me (I could record the forearm movement with just the gloves, without wearing the suit).
i use a laptop for full mocap and my desktop for face and hands sometimes. Will this be an issue for the gloves when you pair back and forth between two different WIFI routers ?
We’ve removed the magnetometer from the gloves so the gloves can avoid magnetic interference :) You can read everything about the features here: www.rokoko.com/products/smartgloves
I am interested in using these gloves with our opti-track system any advice on how to combine the hand skeleton in MoBu or UE4 would be most appreciated!
Looks like you already found Bryan Steagall's post about this :) www.linkedin.com/posts/bryan-steagall-kidz-korner-studio-0833b6_rokoko-fingermocap-ugcPost-6714887516626980864-xaXm
Just watched a bit more, so the finger sensor is on the second-to-last joint. So how does it know how that last joint has bent?
the Rokoko Blender add on is fantastic!!!
please explain more about the connection b/n gloves and the suit and rolling up the hand sensor when and connecting cable from the suit .

Hey Sam, is there a way to track only the hands and arm (with the suit) while excluding the rest of the body?
Thank you!

i have a question can we do recorded performances not live? pre recorded in rokoko studio for better performance?
YAY!!!!! I am going to have to get some more batteries to use the gloves too. How did you manage to get the gloves to resist magnetic interference?

@@RokokoMotion That is pure awesome. Now if you can somehow do this for the body, it will be pure gold

Has anyone else had a horrible time connecting their gloves to rokoko studio? I have one blue light and one red light and nothing is showing up...
Hi Wadsen! With this kind of issues, please reach out to our Support Team at support@rokoko.com. They will surely help you in no time!
Nobody get thumbs right I guess :/
A year after this video, I'll watch to see how they can determine all the finger rotations when there is only 1 sensor per finger.
for example if the internet lags im going to have a glitch in the performance
no, only the preview lag. Not the final data.
