Light vs Marss is def the 2nd best rivalry in Ultimate imo, as they both play so fast and know each other’s habits so well. Still would say the best rivarly in Ult is Tweek vs Leo, but that doesn’t undercut the Light vs Marss rivalry at all

The answer is narrative and fan perspective, if players or teams can face each other alot whether it be because of location like Marss and Light or Boston and New York, or it can be because they play well and face each other late in the tournament alot, MKLeo and Tweek or Lakers and Boston or Golden State and Cleveland for examples. It's a pretty basic concept, just let people have fun about narratives it's not like anyone is pushing that these players dislike each other, although when they do it makes for an even better match imo like Leffen and Chillen is still iconic.

She can out run Wolf on the ground because her ground speed is better and jump around Fox in the air due to her better air speed. It’s a super stacked scene rn and a lot of up & comers who are making top 32 unpredictable. Last tourney when he got 3rd losing to Leo in game 4, was when I saw that Mars still has it in him to win a major. I wanna see him at least make top 5 in Main Stage next month for sure tho

Have a rock paper scissors style decision making system with a field of play designed around it. As such you probably wouldn't have a standard court, and the decision on court would have to be tested based off how far you allow characters their own move sets. Idk, it sounds joyful to play with mates to me at least
Zero Suit Samus actually does have a great out of shield game plus she kills off the top far more than Fox just as much as characters like Mario & Meta Knight
