The country music industry might attract a lot more people who admit to liking at least some country music if the industry did not come off as a bunch of narrow-minded hicks. I am not a big follower of country music but selectively enjoy some of it. Truth is I admire Leanne for crossing over the country line and doing what SHE wanted to do -- after all, she is the artist. I love Dolly Parton. She's very country but she's a loving, open, classy human being and she loves everyone and herself. As for you example of Liz Taylor, she was in an industry that is far more accepting of others lifestyles. Besides, a lot of her peers would've been casting stones in a glass house if they condemned her for all the marriages, etc.
