“Having you sit with me helps.”
GF: “Aww ☺️.”

Was gonna say Fenton got that RIZZ
LOL
Oof
You were really fast. Fantastic job. You can definitely dial out some of the understeer. Your girlfriend seemed so calm probably thanks to your fantastic ability to smooth out the squirrely moments.
Great fkn driving man
Seeing you taking those turns at 90-100 brought chills man. Super impressive. And the BRZ sounds great!
Thanks for the shoutout and great meeting you!
5k/6k is IMO a bit soft for the V730s, I'm at 7k/8k and it feels about perfect on track. 5k/6k is what I'd run for SX2s or a slightly slower tire. Agree on the camber. At 3.6F/2.6R I still need a bit more. 4/3 would probably be about perfect.
Yup, I'll be getting an updated setup with higher spring rates from Annex hopefully soon.
Awesome driving man had me pumped the whole vid hell yeah respect from new Zealand
Beautiful couple laps! Stay safe out there, remember, shiny side up!
Wonderful drive man! Well done
You just showed how the BRZ is capable for
Superb 👍🏼👌🏼✌🏼💪🏼
Nice driving! Your comfort level with the BRZ is showing. Also nothing like chasing faster cars and drivers to find time. The BRZ is a little scalpel out there carving up corners.
Gotta love the underdog spirit of cars like this and the s2k
Great driving!!! Solid laps between you and the 350!
I love your content and I find it motivating, being a broke college student who loves cars (the 86 in particular) watching this really drives me to work my ass off to one day be able to afford it
having you with me helps...one second later and he goes for the PB without her :) ahah good job the car looks really well behaved and fun at the same time
That looks so much fun ❤
Yes yes yes!!
@zygrene the adrenaline pushing the car, feeling comfortable and having a pat hug from girlfriend, best day ever bro congrats. Need to tel Will to slow down lol
Will is too fast for his own good 🙃
@@Zygrene haha agree, currently debating wheel and tire setup for my brz between enkei f1 silver 17x8 et 45 or 17x8 et 35
Absolute fast
Good driving! You need stiffer springs and more tire width.
I feel your double-wishbone pain. So challenging for some MacPherson setups to get good negative camber 😢
Good stuff! Is there a video where you talk about the car's current setup and mods list?
Just added to video description
Might try 2nd in 7 for better acceleration and exit speed into the esses. Might pickup a full second if you can be clean through turn 12.
Nice driving. Want to drive Sonoma someday.
I had a GR86 but only in track off-season months (Oct - April). Traded it for a CT4-V Blackwing 6MT since I had an opportunity that I couldn't pass up. Loved the GR86 though and would have kept both if I could.
I had bought a bunch of stuff for the car (Kosei K1 17x8, 235/40/17 RE71RS, CSG CP pads, SPC 81305 camber bolts) but had to return it all. Hope I can get another one some day. Like you said, having a cheaper, slower, lighter car is going to be more fun and rewarding because you can push it harder.
CT4-V BW sounds like a worthy upgrade. Still need to drive one.
When do I get to be your passenger princess?
Lol
When you start calling me zypapi
I'd be curious to know if you would enjoy a Nissan 370z that's modified similarly to your BRZ. It's got the torque and the double wishbones you want at the expense of a bit more weight. With good tires, suspension, and cooling, I bet it would be a great comparison
Yeah I'd love to drive a properly modded 370Z. It seems to have good potential.
a 'bit more'??
How many days on the v730s? I really like that tire for its longevity, both total life, heat capacity in a session, and heat cycling resistance, not as fast as an A052 in outright hotlap grip, but better at pretty much everything else.
This was the 3rd day, but one of those days was at a soaked Sonoma. I think I can easily get 5+ days out of a set.
Work on your lines through 3/3a and 8/8a. You're straightlining them - you should be sacrificing the first corner for better exit drive off the second. You will gain 1-2secs easily with that simple tweak. The 8a exit is massive...
Curious what you think about how a double wishbone suspension would help?
Also does the ZyBRZ have any aero?
Fantastic driving and lap times!
It's better at keeping most of the tire connected to the pavement during high speed cornering. It also allows one to dial in more negative camber, which increases the tire patch during cornering which in turn, increases grip.
Not even an OEM duckbill. Cars like these are more fun with no aero. Brandon is spot on.
The brz with a supercharger would be a menace on this track. But the worries with force induction are understandable
The supercharger would make it awesome but the problem is the engine it has oil pickup problems and an rtv gasket sealer problem just saying
neptune Blue GR86?Must be Jubball!
How do you like the v730 on track I currently run rt660 on my civic they get so greasy after 2-3 laps very hard to set a fast optimal lap in there operating window looking for a tire that I can lap a entire 15-20 minute session with any suggestions?
They're consistent and predictable. Not a 1 lap wonder like some of the other 200TW. And they're cheap.
How much of an effect on tire wear do you think your alignment has? It seems fairly aggressive for dual purpose use. Also, do you have any plans t o get a baffled oil pan?
I'm about to go even more aggressive with the alignment lol. No plans for a baffled pan yet since I'm sticking with V730.
@@Zygrene are you running the V730s on the street as well?
@@jackwicker usually I run my stock wheels with PS4 on the street, but the Kumhos work fine too
How about you oil temperatures in track? How high are they with the oil cooler?
I think they got up to around 250F. Maybe a little lower. Hard to tell with the stock gauge.
You're lucky to have such a supportive girlfriend. Doesn't hurt that she is minimal ballast. I too like my women like I like my cars, light and maneuverable:)
I need to try that pickup line: Hey baby, you're so hot. Totally minimal ballast 🤣
@@DC5Brandon I would suggest going with the "Light and Maneuverable" line.
@9:44 was crazy
Is there a mods list video?
Added to video description
What is your exhaust setup?
AWE Touring
What org is this? None in my region allow passengers except NASA HPDE3&4
SpeedSF
I found the m340 from the same track day: ruclips.net/video/erBhCTQc_ks/видео.html
By internet hysteria rules you must have blown 6 engines by now due to RTV. Its impossible for the car to survive.
