You do not need to speak or show your full face to connect to your viewing audience. I watch two channels on youtube of two ladies living alone in Japan. Nami has over a million subscribers, and Lou C has a large amount too. They both choose to keep their full face hidden and they both write captions throughout their video in editing. This works well and they both certainly connect with their subscribers. I wish you luck and many success with your own channel and your studies too.
