Thank you for posting and for showing the parktool to use. Some of the aliexpress reviews stated they didn't know which tool to use. Would be nice if they stated it on aliexpress. I am thinking about getting this same crank. Again thank you for showing us how to install it.
Thanks for putting up the review they seem like a great crankset, strong following on Chinertown. I'm keen to run these with 12speed ultegra R8100 chainrings. Most likely improved front shifting, and save 35g over the Ryet ones.
Cybrei cranksets are also well worth a look - so much so that Pog has one on his TT bike with a sticker over the name. His mechanic forgot about the back of the crank though...
When you had the spider tightened down on the crank arm, did it close the gap between the spider and the crank, or could you see some aluminium colour still between the two? I have tightened the lock ring as much as I can, but I still see a gap of about 1mm+. Thanks, and Merry Christmas.
riro lexon. you need cautious this crank made for maximize cost efficiency. this crank not made for accommodate the pro with power. if you casual rider you good to go. but if you sprinter who have massive power in your leg. high possibility this crank bolt will failure. and the carbon not to special the build quality is standard i cannot talk much about this thing, i only say what i experience and sharing with my own community. i got mine broken in the area where the thread securing pedal it came off in the middle of hilly area ride. if you a type of rider often do sprinting above 800-900 watt or pushing hard in climbing do not use this thing. better you get burn your cash for red e1 but your safety is guarantee.
@@oliverdowd1978 i can say yes this thing unsafe if the pro use it. the metal material they use for the as rot are not as good as used in shimano or sram. lexon riro goldix and other ali brand crank set use the same metal alloy as rod. this 24mm alloy is often break into two piece if the rider put to much force. some not break into two piece but the joint between the crank arm and the as rod are loosen or snap. this is rare occasion and i believe it due lack of inspection and metal quality.
@@endtimeslips4660 Did you buy this crank and it failed on you? Or did you buy a different aliexpress crank and it failed on you, if so which crank was it? This 24mm spindle is made from titanium, not aluminum. The 29mm spindle is made from aluminum, as is Sram Red per my understanding, but I'm not sure which grade of aluminum Sram uses and what grade of aluminum Lexon uses.

Yes this was another option, but they don't come in a 24mm axle which I prefer since all my bikes use this standard, and they're a bit pricier

No there is a very small gap between the spider and the crank arm
6830 grams 🙂, with rim brake, for small frame size, it would be quiet easy to get sub 6.8. but I guess yours is large size, so it's hard to tell...
Good guess! I'm on a 56 so not small but also not massive. I think this is also probably the lightest colorway too
You were close. I just uploaded the weigh in

Have you ridden it outside and done a proper sprint on it?
I've ridden it outside and done a couple sprints on it. Only 1100w peak power since I'm not a really big rider.
@@oliverdowd1978 you don't look like a heavy guy. 1100 watts is pretty good.
torque wrenches are a good investment... princess auto or aliexpress
I have one but it only goes up to 8nm

Interesting, did this happen to you. I wasn't worried about the bolt failing I was more worried about the spindle or chainrings failing at first.
@@oliverdowd1978 that is fatal if it happen in ride.
Yes but are these cranks any more unsafe than Shimano cranks which have had issues debonding in the past? Hard to say?

They ruined it with the swappable spindle, added like 40 grams
Yeah but I guess the folks wanting a power meter would be happy with this move.
Doesn't really change anything on that front
