@@Dvailen I mean even in TLW, Ian Malcolm was still trying to tell everyone to not move, same with Dr. Grant in the 3rd before the spino fight.
It just doesn't work simply because people don't listen & move anyway because they're too scared, or the rex already saw them.

i like how in ur vids T-rex can be stealthy. the sound and shake of footsteps depends entirely on how fast/hard one steps if a rex is sprinting YES its gonna be like a freeking earthquake. but if a rex is just carefully walking trying to get into and ambush position or something all ur gonna her is foliage crushing underfoot. isnt that terrifying?

This right here shows what really bugged me about the Jurassic Park franchise. You would think Hammond would make sure all of his employees would be highly trained in dealing with larger predators, such as tons of classes on the subject and what if scenarios. There's a few things that bother me on how the worker reacted. 1) He was out there on foot with no protection. Even if you think that it's only herbivores out there, you should still have some kind of protection or means of escape. 2) He took forever to run away. If I was him, I would have been running as soon as the T-rex showed up. 3) He came out from behind the tree before he knew where the T-rex aka the big threat was, but it probably wouldn't have matter as he wasn't hidden that well, so he would have been found anyways. 4) He should have hidden in vegetation and cover up his scent. It would have been better than hiding behind a tree.
In the end, it's a horror franchise more so the books are and you can't have a horror franchise without stupid humans in it, at least a lot of horror writers seem to think so. Anyways, this is another great animation, and it's nice to get to see scenes from the books as I have never read them. At least, I'm assuming all of these Jurassic Park Horror Shorts are from the books. The only one I'm sure of that is from the books is the baby incident.

I love all these JP short horror films, but have a question. Why is it - in every one of the films, and every one of these shorts - the dinosaurs only kill men? The male body count at this point has to be nearing triple digits, but even when there are women present to be snacked on it’s always a dude who ends up as lunch. I’m assuming the issue is that seeing a dinosaur eat a woman would somehow turn off the audience, but is that always true?
The one exception to this that I recall was the female assistant who’d been on screen for all of ten seconds in one of the Jurassic World films and got dropped into the Mosasaur pool. I consider that scene to be the exception that proves the rule. 😅
