I had a Nissan frontier in 2023 that it will be 20 years old. I sold it recently and I really do miss my Nissan so I was thinking about trading in our Toyota RAV4 that we inherited that has 28,000 miles 2017 they will give us a great price for it so if possible around Thanksgiving time, I might be buying a NISSAN
For 2024, if you want a mid-sized truck, with a 6 foot bed...pretty much your only choice is a Frontier SV. Not a fan of 4 door, kid hauling, shorty bed trucks.
Not worth the price
That was a great, honest overview. I like how you pointed out the things you do and don't like. I totally agree that I am glad they didn't put in a cut. A 9 speed is overkill, 5 or 6 speed would have been perfect. I love that is has the 3.8L V-6.
The 9 speed had initial issues but it's a good transmission
I have the 2022 and I really love it. My first truck and leased it for 18 months because I wasn’t sure about owning a truck. Not sure what’s next but it will be a truck again. Love you’re reviews, keep it up bro.
My first truck was a 2008 frontier. I loved that truck. No issues the 7 years I owned it
I really love this truck!! Amazing video bro.
Best looking truck in its class IMO. Nice review as always!
I have a glacier white Pro 4X. I love it, cruise control is horrendous but other than that its a great truck.
I see you are doing 80mph
🚔
Nissan Frontier is a beautiful new truck design. And fast to !
Yes, I had a 2003 Nissan frontier and this one is so loaded with bells and whistles compared to what I had. I did not even have power windows on the one I just sold.
I have a sliding window on the rear. My truck is spacious in the front . Same deep blue color as well.
Our Navara overseas looks like a girl
This is the one we need
Were you able to see if it had stop/start? I know it says it on the sticker but some models have a button under the radio to turn it off/on
I love the color of the truck has that Dallas Cowboys blue I like in a truck color
Cowboys. They got some work to do.
@@davidpeters44 yes sir like for the past 27 years like we’ve always said there’s always next year
This guy makes perfect sense
Nobody better.
40k for this?? Jeez my 2014 f150 xlt 5.0 fully loaded was 40k in 2014.
Different economy
Nearly 10 years ago haha
Welcome to 2024 dork !
Don't know how you could even compare this 2023 nissan to a canyon or even a colorado 2023
I owned a 2005, 2019 and now a 2023. The 2023 is in almost every way better than the previous two EXCEPT in price. Mine is an exact duplicate SV, down to the color, to your demo and $42000 is $10,000 more than my 2019. Btw: even the turning radius has improved.
wow 42k?
Thats ridiculous, you can buy a 2023 Pro-4X for that price
i just realized they got rid of the ugly half window back door
For us short people at 5'6", how's the view over the hood? I really wanted to like the Tacoma, but I couldn't get comfortable with the seating arrangement and trying to see over the hood. The Frontier is on my list for next time.
Frontier and Tacoma have similar hood visibility issues imo,but I’d sit behind the wheel because I think Frontier front seat adjustability is better.
Does the 2023 have wireless Apple CarPlay?
I think wireless only comes with the pro-4x
Good review staying on point
How about the suspencion?
It’s decent in my opinion. Drives more like the Titan and Armada in my opinio .
Is this the base model or next trim above?
Trim above, S is base model.
@@NothinButCarReviews thanks 👍
nice video.
2023 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 4X4!
Does it support wireless android auto
I don’t think so.
No. Only wireless Apple carplay
@@Blue-moon12 damn. Does the 2024?
I love the color and I try to buy this truck bro.
Whats the difference between the 2023 and 2022 Frontier?
Not much if anything that I noticed.
In the 2023 wireless Apple car play, spray in bedliner and the lava red accents on the interior is all standard I think and also for 2023 there is the midnight edition for the sv models
Is the steering any better ?
I thought it had the same steering feel, but a tad less “awkward” feeling in my opinion .
What packages do you have for the SV?
Technology Package.
Did Nissan put a telescopic steering wheel for 2023 or still only up down steering wheel?
I’ll have to double check, but their demo video says it only tilts. 😳
But no C D player ?why
@ 19 MPG, Hell no!!!
Get a horse dude !
waiting on that 2023 kia k5 gt line
Gross
It doesn’t even get a 4 x 4 sticker
As soon as you said "Halogen headlamps", I lost interest. For a 2023 I would expect LED standard, and also the backup camera quality is pretty awful on the Frontier. Otherwise, it is a beautiful looking truck
Halogen is literally better than LED.

Yes by 2024 The Frontier will be back to dead last . New Ranger, New Tacoma, New Colorado, New Ridgeline coming. All those brands have way deeper pockets and are all going turbo. Frontier will be a dinosaur once again
I travel a lot for work. I've rented Colorados, Rangers, Tacomas, and the new Frontier. The Colorado is obviously pretty dated, but there wasn't anything wrong with it. Tacoma obviously has the bomb proof engines, but those are pretty slow by today's standards. The ranger is cool. You stomp on the gas and the turbo will mush you into the seat. Now, for a naturally aspirated V6 the Frontier is really peppy man. I was very surprised... Now I don't know enough about turbos, but it seems like extra stuff to break (IMO). Hopefully they all have them figured out by now. So, I wouldn't say the Frontier will be a dinosaur. It's damned quick.
Def not quick. It tested 8 sec to 60 and does the quarter in 16sec. It’s a slug for a modern day truck. All the truck brands are ready to redesign. The frontier will be back in dead last in 2 years.
