Ancestor of modern ballet dance.
A beautiful performance, but I wonder why the cinematographer opted to only show us one half of the dancer's body in any given shot. When I watch a dance video, I want to see the dancer's dance, not her face.
Absolutely!
This is the best dancing I've ever seen in my life
Спасибо большое 😊
There is nothing, and I mean nothing. That even compares to a Baroque performance with period style surroundings.
Quite simply, lovley wonderfully beautiful...
Sublimely elegant. Those were the days!
How lovely! I believe learning this and other baroque dances is quite difficult. In fact, French court dance was the basis of what was to become ballet in the 19th century.
La danse baroque, une merveille indépassable ! Merci !
Complimenti,brave brave,eleganza e delicatezza.Non mi stanco mai di guardare.❤😊
Thank you very much!
La grâce et le talent.
XVII et XVIII , l'Europe est a son apogée
Some proper baroque ballet, beautiful
Thank you 😊
Cela me fait rêver ❤ .
This reminds me so much of the old Barbie movies. Superb!
Yes! There are some"The Princess and the Pauper" vibes. " I just like you, you just like me..")))
Beautifully danced and edited!
Thank you ☺️
this is really beautiful, love this x
Thank you 😊
Superb! I just had one crazy day and this is just what I needed. Thank you. ♥
Sublime, delicado , elegante, sofisticado, lírico, etéreo y maravilloso
Just a word : divine !
Thank you!
@@MonplaisirDanceCompany You're welcome ! Be proud of yourselves and your talent, and keep on like that !
Both are doing the same steps but for me the girl in the dark brown dress dances beautifully (perhaps is her long neck that makes her look very elegant)
Yes! Her longer graceful neck, arms, and legs, altogether more graceful, elegant proportions, lend her movements added grace and elegance!
Me gusta mucho ❤ esa época ❤ hermoso baile 🎉❤🎉❤🎉
The dancer in yellow really made me feel like she was genuinely from the Baroque period, it was incredible. They both danced so beautifully, but the first dancer was definitely embodying the spirit of the times more, I believe
Thank you very much!
I have to disagree. I found the second dancer in the dark dress, whose arms and legs were longer proportioned, danced with much more beauty and grace!
I cannot decide, which one.... they both did great! _But I like the darker dress better. 🙂
New version of this dance ruclips.net/video/dY2DXU7zlDs/видео.htmlsi=Bxm8xYKuR-0wadPD The second girl and I started dancing better 😆 You can check it out. And there were more girls to discuss 😉

@@MonplaisirDanceCompany my pleasure. If you do requests, I would love to see your interpretation of the Passacaille, from Jean-Baptiste Lully's 'Armide'. Act V. Scene 1.
Thank you 😊
Armide - one love 💕 We have a lot of interpretation of this dance. The last one - ruclips.net/video/jcBIyt5HN1Y/видео.html (first dance). Another one ruclips.net/video/a3BMlsmpLmE/видео.html (last dance).
Wow!!!💕
Thanks ☺️
Beautiful ! Bravo !
How can they dance so well in those hard shoes?
fantastic
Thank you 😊
Why can't we see the footwork? It's the most important part of the dance.
I feel rich now
It's hard to dance but beautifull
x la forma de moverse se nota k son bailarinas profesionales, yo bajaria de los saltitos como una piedra
From which script is this choreography coming from?
Based on choreography written by L'abbe, 1730
But this is not an exact reconstruction, since the notated dance is solo for one lady.
@@MonplaisirDanceCompany good to know from where to find it. Well done! 😊
@@raidolill5134 thank you!
It’s like Russian Ballet: From everything to much! I’m in a sugar coma …
