There are no good cops. The order-follower always bears MORE moral culpability than the order-giver, because the order-follower is the one who actually performed the action, and in taking such action, actually brought the resultant harm into physical manifestation. Order-following is the pathway to every form of evil and chaos in our world. It should NEVER be seen as a “virtue” by anyone who considers themselves a moral human being. Order-followers have ultimately been personally responsible and morally culpable for every form of slavery and every single totalitarian regime that has ever existed upon the face of the earth.

Nevada view Americans need to be educated a cop is not law enforcement police are law enforcement the police can only be created by the people not the city or the county or the state these individuals running around with these uniforms are under the authority of the mayor or the county commissioner if you really want to charge someone for impersonating law enforcement then charge the county and City administrators and have them prove that these cops are considered law enforcement then proceeded to federal court and sue them for impersonating law enforcement your city officials use the security guards to enforce their tyrannical policies or ordinance which are not considered laws the people have responsibility to create constitutional law enforcement and to enforce the constitution on all elected officials appointed officials and employees of the people's government

You know for a FACT that these cops were lying their asses off because they were talking with him the entire time. So what possible reason would there be to get out of the vehicle if you can already talk to him? "We just want you to come out here and talk to us." We're talking just fine. Why does my location matter if we can already talk? They wanted hands on him for sure. You are NEVER required to ID or exit your vehicle according to the constitution and your natural rights.

Take a look at Thompson v. Smith and Miller v. Reed. The plaintiff's argument that the right to operate a motor vehicle is fundamental because of its relation to the fundamental right of interstate travel is utterly frivolous.   The plaintiff is not being prevented from traveling interstate by public transportation, by common carrier, or in a motor vehicle driven by someone with a license to drive it.   What is at issue here is not his right to travel interstate, but his right to operate a motor vehicle on the public highways, and we have no hesitation in holding that this is not a fundamental right.
40 CFR § 85.1703 Definition of motor vehicle.
      (a) For the purpose of determining the applicability of section 216(2), a vehicle which is self-propelled and capable of transporting a person or persons or any material or any permanently or temporarily affixed apparatus shall be deemed a motor vehicle, unless any one or more of the criteria set forth below are met, in which case the vehicle shall be deemed not a motor vehicle:
      (1) The vehicle cannot exceed a maximum speed of 25 miles per hour over level, paved surfaces; or
      (2) The vehicle lacks features customarily associated with safe and practical street or highway use, such features including, but not being limited to, a reverse gear (except in the case of motorcycles), a differential, or safety features required by state and/or federal law; or
      (3) The vehicle exhibits features which render its use on a street or highway unsafe, impractical, or highly unlikely, such features including, but not being limited to, tracked road contact means, an inordinate size, or features ordinarily associated with military combat or tactical vehicles such as armor and/or weaponry.
      (b) Note that, in applying the criterion in paragraph (a)(2) of this section, vehicles that are clearly intended for operation on highways are motor vehicles. Absence of a particular safety feature is relevant only when absence of that feature would prevent operation on highways.

In a 1787 letter to William Stephens Smith, the son-in-law of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson used the phrase "tree of liberty":
I do not know whether it is to yourself or Mr. Adams I am to give my thanks for the copy of the new constitution. I beg leave through you to place them where due. It will be yet three weeks before I shall receive them from America. There are very good articles in it: and very bad. I do not know which preponderate. What we have lately read in the history of Holland, in the chapter on the Stadtholder, would have sufficed to set me against a Chief magistrate eligible for a long duration, if I had ever been disposed towards one: and what we have always read of the elections of Polish kings should have forever excluded the idea of one continuable for life. Wonderful is the effect of impudent and persevering lying. The British ministry have so long hired their gazetteers to repeat and model into every form lies about our being in anarchy, that the world has at length believed them, the English nation has believed them, the ministers themselves have come to believe them, and what is more wonderful, we have believed them ourselves. Yet where does this anarchy exist? Where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusets? And can history produce an instance of a rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it’s motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be 20. years without such a rebellion.[1] The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13. states independant 11. years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. Our Convention has been too much impressed by the insurrection of Massachusets: and in the spur of the moment they are setting up a kite to keep the hen yard in order. I hope in god this article will be rectified before the new constitution is accepted.[2]

Its easy to see why he offered the police a passport, instead of state ID. Plus he was already out on bond for driving without a license
Apart from that, it is possible to have insurance without a license. And since he wasnt charged for "failure to maintain financial responsibility FMFR," its safe to presume he had insurance. So its my uneducated opinion that he had the police's hands tied for the fact that he had no felony warrants, & no sign or symptom of drugs or alcohol. On that basis he had every right to defend himself from forced entry into his car
What the police dont want you to know is that very fact. Without just cause or a warrant, you have the right to protect yourself from invasion, while in your car. It was good for both sides that these police didnt try the old K9 trick. The one where they falsely claim the dog "indicated" the presence of drugs, so they can access a car with neither permission nor warrant

I also know from researching the case that part of the reason was how the state patrol and sheriff's dept performed the stop their reason for stopping and then how they conducted themselves at the scene after they had him stopped. Pretty much outlined by the judge in the case that all was inappropriately done and that certain rights during this interaction had been violated. Charges were dropped and he walked out. And again it's not the first time.

Or what our founders had to go through to build the legal system we now have. I have two brothers, one of whom is a cop and the other is a lawyer. Both honorable men! Your blanket statement about cops and lawyers and judges and politicians is pure horseshit! Without the legal system or the founders who created it , (and yes I know nothings perfect), we’d all be living in an anarchistic, animalistic, dog eat dog, piece of garbage situation that would resemble a living hell! I happen to think this country is a pretty good place to live! I don’t have any problems obeying the laws of the land, and at the same time enjoying my freedoms to travel where I wish, and do basically what I want. But I’m aware that others have rights to, just not unlimited, and those rights need to be balanced with every other citizen. We all need to be aware of that. That’s why privileges and rights need to be legally defined by laws. And yes, I’m aware there are bad people in every category. I’m just so sick of morons making blanket statements, lumping everybody in a certain professions, all into one big pile! That is the epitome of overly judgmental stupidity! If we could just get half the morons in this country, to take individual issues and individual people, on an individual basis, and reserve their judgments on individual evidence, for each of those individual circumstances, what an improvement we could make! But unfortunately, that seems to be too much to ask, for far too many of the mental midgets, living in our societies today! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤬

For the citizen there is no limit to the repurcussions of not complying, whether it's a justified or unjustified order.
When Police understand that you understand, that you are willing to make the repurcussions the same for their actions, they back down.
At the end of the day the question shouldn't be "Am I willing to risk my life over not have a license, or a tag?"

He’s got the right paperwork in place and took the proper steps to put everybody on notice. I think they had a conversation with Sheriff Harlan on that phone call. Great job done by both. I think the officers were very patient and made a real effort to come to a peaceful solution, even though they are not aware of the real law. Kudos to all involved.

22 CFR Part 51.7 - A passport at all times remains the property of the United States and must be returned to the U.S. Government upon demand.
These guys were state/local police. So they had no federal authority and thus had no right to demand the Passport. But if he handed over the passport freely, then its not theft.
