Take a look at Thompson v. Smith and Miller v. Reed. The plaintiff's argument that the right to operate a motor vehicle is fundamental because of its relation to the fundamental right of interstate travel is utterly frivolous. The plaintiff is not being prevented from traveling interstate by public transportation, by common carrier, or in a motor vehicle driven by someone with a license to drive it. What is at issue here is not his right to travel interstate, but his right to operate a motor vehicle on the public highways, and we have no hesitation in holding that this is not a fundamental right. 40 CFR § 85.1703 Definition of motor vehicle. In a 1787 letter to William Stephens Smith, the son-in-law of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson used the phrase "tree of liberty": I do not know whether it is to yourself or Mr. Adams I am to give my thanks for the copy of the new constitution. I beg leave through you to place them where due. It will be yet three weeks before I shall receive them from America. There are very good articles in it: and very bad. I do not know which preponderate. What we have lately read in the history of Holland, in the chapter on the Stadtholder, would have sufficed to set me against a Chief magistrate eligible for a long duration, if I had ever been disposed towards one: and what we have always read of the elections of Polish kings should have forever excluded the idea of one continuable for life. Wonderful is the effect of impudent and persevering lying. The British ministry have so long hired their gazetteers to repeat and model into every form lies about our being in anarchy, that the world has at length believed them, the English nation has believed them, the ministers themselves have come to believe them, and what is more wonderful, we have believed them ourselves. Yet where does this anarchy exist? Where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusets? And can history produce an instance of a rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it’s motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be 20. years without such a rebellion.[1] The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13. states independant 11. years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. Our Convention has been too much impressed by the insurrection of Massachusets: and in the spur of the moment they are setting up a kite to keep the hen yard in order. I hope in god this article will be rectified before the new constitution is accepted.[2]

In a 1787 letter to William Stephens Smith, the son-in-law of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson used the phrase "tree of liberty":
I do not know whether it is to yourself or Mr.

@detonationpyrotechnics4156 apparently not. He beat it in court. Walked. No ticket. No court costs. Etc etc. An it's not the first time he's beat these charges. And he always reps himself in court. I also know from researching the case that part of the reason was how the state patrol and sheriff's dept performed the stop their reason for stopping and then how they conducted themselves at the scene after they had him stopped. Pretty much outlined by the judge in the case that all was inappropriately done and that certain rights during this interaction had been violated. Charges were dropped and he walked out. And again it's not the first time.

Idk maybe because he was driving with out a driver license, no plates on his vehicle, while speeding. The "passport" thing was just cop talk for "get out while we investigate further". The only thing corrupt here is his understanding of how the law works. Without the legal system or the founders who created it , (and yes I know nothings perfect), we’d all be living in an anarchistic, animalistic, dog eat dog, piece of garbage situation that would resemble a living hell! I happen to think this country is a pretty good place to live! I don’t have any problems obeying the laws of the land, and at the same time enjoying my freedoms to travel where I wish, and do basically what I want. But I’m aware that others have rights to, just not unlimited, and those rights need to be balanced with every other citizen. We all need to be aware of that. That’s why privileges and rights need to be legally defined by laws. And yes, I’m aware there are bad people in every category. I’m just so sick of morons making blanket statements, lumping everybody in a certain professions, all into one big pile! That is the epitome of overly judgmental stupidity! If we could just get half the morons in this country, to take individual issues and individual people, on an individual basis, and reserve their judgments on individual evidence, for each of those individual circumstances, what an improvement we could make! I had to explain to my wife why crap like this makes me very anti Police. Literally every interaction that you don't comply with an officer can escalate to literal sanctioned death, and there's little likelihood that an officer will be found to be at fault.
For the citizen there is no limit to the repurcussions of not complying, whether it's a justified or unjustified order.
When Police understand that you understand, that you are willing to make the repurcussions the same for their actions, they back down.
