So she took over control for the final boss fight. At the end she sent a angry message to the mothership, telling her to come home. Much to the Mothership's chagrin. Final bit of the ending is a throwback to the original Alien hominid (HD). Showing the grandmothership is in league with the KGB from the original game.
Just realized... the reason the original Alien Hominid is still on earth is because Hatty's laser shot him down again at the end of Battleblock. So he got shot down by the FBI, rescued by the fat kids then shot down again lmao. I also didn't notice this whole thing is like a reference to Metal Slug 2's final boss with the mothership. Even down to your previous enemies siding with you to attack it. I forgot about that one.
Then who is piloting the spaceship in the sky when the big Fat Kid gives the present? I'm not trying to discredit your theory because it does explain why he needs the ice cream ship at the end, but I can't figure out why we still see the original spaceship in the sky during the ending
@@Velovetre It's possible Hatty's laser shoots him down between the first ending cutscene and the one that comes after the credits, I just thought of that, it fades to black and we don't know how much time passes or what happens between the two scenes
