  • How to install window trim studs in a classic American muscle car, fast and easy!
    If you did any body work on your classic Pontiac Firebird or Chevy Camaro first-generation f body car and need to replace or reinstall the little studs around the window frame of the front and rear glass, then this video is for you. I'll show you how far apart each clip should be, how deep into the window channel the stud should go, and where to buy them.

    Awesome work. I Gave all of those little things for my body shop to install, hopefully they remembered. Are you going to do a video on installing the window and trim?

    When you taped the tooungue depressions you change the height of your studs

    I am thinking i would place a little fresh (wet) epoxy primer on the threads just before they bottom out. That would reduce the chances of corrosion setting in there.

    Do you have part# are they stainless? Oh and post a pic of your stud map around window for measurements if you can ty i`m sure all nova camaro firebird are the same for those guys.

    My 69 is a vinyl top car and there are more studs than hard top. 3.5” to 4” apart
