Hello Karl. Does this mean Pharmacists are back in demand since they will be on the CSOL?
Please create some content on 407 training visa. Due to increasing processing times, employers are beginning to retract from sponsorship. Example occupation : Retail Pharmacist. State invitations have dried up. After so much efforts even we become able to find employer pharmacies, because of so long waiting times they do not want to wait and cancel the processings in between.
Processing times affect many people across many occupations so we cannot make a video based upon one occupation group I'm afraid. Best of luck to all of those waiting
I'm also looking for the information of 407 training visa as another alternative if cannot find a sponsor
@@sylviahorusman 407 is still an employer sponsored visa. You need a sponsor, even though this can be a bit crappier one.
Hi Carl I'm one of your followers in youtube can share somedetails on south australia when it's starting it's invitation rounds.
Hi Karl,
Thanks again for the amazing updates you bring to us weekly.
With 7900 invitations for subclass 189 already out for this financial year, how many rounds do you anticipate in the remaining months? This news is both exciting and scary at the same time.😅
Depends upon how may people make use of those invitations and sorry I wish I knew but we shall have to wait and see.
Hi Carl, very good show. Can you also discuss the western Australia invitation round, where WA invited people even more points than recent 189 round, see occupation points for construction etc it seems WA inviting imaginary people
WA is not inviting imaginary people. They are inviting people who lodged 189 EOI, WA 190 EOI and/or 491 WA EOI, just to see which one gets invited. If there are multiple invites, they pick a visa they want the most. Take it however you like, but that’s a common strategy for lots of people waiting for an invitation.
Hi thanks Karl for this informative video. My questions is the university lecturers are still on the occupation list?
For now yes they are
Would be interested to see you response to negative feedback. Otherwise, hats off for such an informative and important channel.
Hi Karl,
Could you please explain what is the ‘Tie break date - month and year : 09/2022’ shown on the 189 invitations page issued on 5 September 2024?
Does it mean that only the EOIs submitted before September 2022 were considered for this invitation round?
Thank you!!
Hi Karl - Thank you so much for such amazing and informative videos which keeps us posted on the Australian immigration and visas. I always look forward to your videos for getting qualitative and genuine information. Can you please update us on the latest visa grant trends as I lodged my visa on 25th May 2023 (offshore) as a Contract Administrator for NSW but I have not yet received my visa grant or S.57 till date. Can you please let me know as when can I expect my visa grant or if will be getting S.56 first as my medicals got expired? I have already submitted my updated PCC in April 2024 this year. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for your work! god bless!
Like some fresh bread...right out from the oven. Thank you Karl and team.
Our pleasure! Thanks for your support
When the new processing priorities come in, for a non priority offshore who lodged a 190 visa on May 2023, it seems like a never ending wait.
When in effect, does this means we will have to wait significantly more than the processing times. The current processing times shoe 16 to 17 months, and I am waiting on my 16th month - will I have to wait significantly more (on the likes of 22-24 months)?
I don't think you will have to wait any longer but lets see what the final direction comes out like as there still could be changes
@@ailsaustralia Hi Karl, Do you have any indication when the final 109 direction will come out and when that will be impacted from ?. I am also waiting since May 2023 (491 SC) under Construction Project Manager occupation. I was happy for a while after seeing the new direction in website and now it is disappeared suddenly. 😥
Hi Karl.. Thanks for the valuable information. I have been waiting for my 491(NSW) visa grant since Aug 2022. After 03 S56 compliance, it's still in further assessment. It's very frustrating for me to wait so long... what you think, what are the reasons of delay ...
Oftern verifying overseas work experience claims can be the most common delays. Hang in there, it will happen
Hey karl
I have lodged my 491 visa as a mechanical engineer on 27th june 2023 from offshore. Haven't received anything yet. When can i expect my grant?
Lodged 24th June 2023 nsw civil engineer offshore. No update 😢
Thank you for this video! I really appreciate everything you have done for us.
I too have a question. I sat the PTE exam and scored 90/90 2 days ago. I would like to study master of teaching. I now can claim 80 points but will turn 33 in January,2025. I am settled in Melbourne and have a good life here. My problem is that I am already on 485 (476 for engineers) which means I will not be eligible to apply for a second graduate visa.
However, to be able to claim 5 more points, I can consider studying in regional area.
If you were me, would you study the master of teaching in Mlb or regional area?
Complex question that one and cannot answer here. Please book a time so we can assist. Thanks for your suppor to f the channel
Does 491 (and the subsequent 191) included in Schedule A, Priority 4?
Edit: actually I'm wondering about 191 the most since it's not mentioned at all in the priority list.
191 should not be counted to the migration intake since the 491 visa has already been counted before, so looks like no priority, sorry
@@ailsaustralia That makes sense - thanks for the clarification!
Thank you very much for the informative video. I submitted my EOI for the 491 Regional Visa for NSW, Victoria, and ACT back in Jan 2024. I still havent received an invitation. How much longer do I have to wait? I managed to get 80 points and submitted for the HR Advisor occupation. Any help will be appreciated
I have also applied for 491 EOI for NSW in Jan 2024 with 80 Points. But I haven't heard anything from them.

Hi Karl, can you help me if I can claim 10 points for work experience or not in basis of following circumstances
Education- Bachelor of Biotechnology (01/08/2013- 01/10/2017)
Master of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Australian degree (21/02/2019 - 08/07/2021)
Employment - Covid Response officer (27/07/2021-13/11/2021)
- Medical Laboratory Technician ( 16/11/2021- ongoing)
Aims assessed on the basis of these two occupations for Medical Laboratory Technician.
Can I claim points for the first two years of my employment as AIMS needs 2 years of experience for Skill assessment (if graduated from non aims accredited university) ?
Can I claim 10 points for work experience?
Thank you 👍
I am a cafe and restaurant manager holding a 482 visa. I have heard that there will be changes in visa regulations soon, and I am considering switching my current employer. If my occupation is no longer on the list, can I still switch my sponsor? Also, if my occupation is not on the list in the future, will I be eligible to apply for the 186 transition stream ? How will the new legislation impact my situation? I would be very grateful for a response.
You are not eligible for DE, as your occupation is now on the Short occupation list. Regarding the TRT stream for 186 visa, as Karl explains in this video, you will
be still able to access the ENS trough 186 transition stream as long you will meet 2 years work requirement. Changing the employer means that it will reset your 2 years work for the employer under 482 visa and may be not eligible to apply for the new 482 if the occupation is not on the CSOL.
Thanks for your advice. I have heard about the new skill demand visa, and current 482 visa holders will be able to switch employers without having to restart the process and time. But, right now seems no one can answer that question lets see new legislation and policies
@@ahmetkisal8929 sure, no problem. The thing is you are on 482 and whatever changed the new skill in demand visa will bring may not apply to you. So, in my opinion we should now be very careful with making decisions regarding our visas. Btw. I am also restaurant manager so I share your concerns
Some good questions there but we do not have the full details about how the 186 may be altered to accept changing employers. If the occupation goes before a new employer can lodge a new nomination for you then it maybe you will not have access to the new visa.
Because electionss nearby thats why
Hi. Can I ask how long is the process of temporary contributory visa cause our paper it's been process for almost 6 years now our 4 children are all in Sydney just me and my husband here in the phils ,thank you for your answer
On their websote they have the dates they are up to for processing but it should not be long I hope for you.
Hi karl. (186 sponsor pr visa ) processing time is 13 months. So Will it be given within the specified time?
Oh that is impossible to say, that is the average time
Hi, Karl, thanks for your great work! I lodged my 190 visa application in January of 2024, and my occupation code is 233411 (Electronics Engineer). As the new Minister Direction is released, how long do you think I need to wait to get my PR visa granted?
That occupation was not on the contruction sector list I'm afraid so it does not seem like priority is going to happen
Hello karl, is 887 categorized as number 4?
Not exactly sure on that since 489 visas are already counted towards the migration numbers
I’d say half your audience is actually anti MASS immigration, rather than “please help me Karl”
Recent check on immigration website seems they removed 109 direction from DHA website ? any official link on this information ?
Hi Karl,
Thank for this video. I have done vetassess skill assessment and haven’t claimed first 12 months experience in my 189 eoi. If i have claimed all point it would have been 90. Did i miss my chance at this invitation round? Can i claim first 12 month of experience after my qualification for 189?
Hello Karl, quick question. Is that 3 skill and demand visas coming under name 482 Sponsorship Visa? Because we heard that will be replaced but still we only hear 482 Sponsorship visa.
Hope I’m clear about what I want to say. Thank you.
The SID visa will simply replace the 482 visa but essentially it is exactly the same visa

Hello karl, What about baker, chef, and cook can come on new list for sponsorship ? You think ?
There still high demand for food and hospitality workers so I would think they will be on the list
Any hope for offshore Print Journalist? 80 points NSW VIC for 190
Hmmm, hard to say and its difficult to answer questions like this. Best of luck though
Very nice k

ha, thanks!
90 points construction project manager 189 visa subclass
what do you think karl?
Looks promising
Hi karl, could you please let me know when will DHA process july 2023 lodged 491 files (offshore non priority ones)
Can i apply social worker and community worker in 190 in Victoria at the same time?
Am university lecturer with 90 points for 189, eoi filled since one year, but not received any invitations. Pl guide
Just need to wait I'm afraid but UL's are not as popular anymore given the student cap coming in.
What about 491?
Hi Karl, I have applied 491 visa on 28 June 2023, Occupation software engineer (261313) the status is Received from day 1. When can i expect the grant? Thanks!
is there a chance for 42 yo nurses in canada with only 50 pts ? thanks
Need to reach 65
Construction sector priority without Civil Engineers is a joke. Don't know who makes all these policies😢
Yeah, this is a joke! Civil Engineers are vital when it comes to managing project site activities, materials, and operations. Structural Engineers on the other hand are in the office creating plans/drawings/calculations. They should revisit this!!
@@yellowww21 civil engineering is the core subject of construction sector. But sadly, Doha thinks other way
House in Australia dont need civil engineers. Timber houses of value 100000 dollars are getting sold for 500000 dollars 😂
But actual building must be done, so workers are needed more, and reusing design isn’t all too uncommon. This could be DOHA’s reasoning for not including civil engineer as a priority occupation. Or this is simply an oversight. Either way, the revised one should come soon and we shall see.
@@estellebright2579 Structural engineers (Consulting side), Civil engineers (construction side), skilled workers are all needed in a project's life cycle. I don't understand their reasoning behind this. I think the one creating this list have no idea what are the clear demarcations between these occupations.
Sounds interesting....
Thanks for watching Tony
