@@dynomitedp back when i was a little kid, almost 40 now, nurse sharks where really a dime a dozen. It was not uncommon for ppl to buy baby sharks at ur LFS. This part of the hobby died somewhere when i was about maybe 19-20. I think it had something to do with ppl saying it was inhumane and now im pretty sure u need a special license to have one. My grandma had a 125, with only the sharks.
Remy that tank was super cool. And mad props on those b roll Shots. Great depth of field, colors, and framing. What lens were you using for those further away shots with the light bokeh? Super cool!
From an equipment standpoint this is a very simple setup. Maintenance, however, would take a different video for sure! Heck the NPS gorgs alone are quite a task.
I started to set up a dwarf seahorse tank but from everything I've read and watched I've decided against it. I already have two reef tanks set up and know I would not be able to keep up adding all the maintenance and care requirements for cute adorable dwarf seahorses. So now the plan is an invert tank. Maybe a couple maxi minis and some sexy shrimp? And something that I have always wanted to keep but have been intimidated by is cuttlefish. I think they would so amazing to watch and interact with.
They are a bit more work than the usual livestock thats for sure! I think the payoff is there though. I'm in the process of breaking down some tanks so it can be manageable again. Totally feel you on that one.
🤣🤣 the Nathan threw me off I was like, mate, auto correct did you wrong. I so want to go to aquashella one day!!!!! And can I go to a non star bucks and tell them about your channel? Or is it just star bucks 🤣😝
Lol! Totally intentional on the Nathan name...might just change it up every time now. It could be anywhere! I didn't think anyone would actually do it.
Thanks 👍 I knew I had to document it. This was more of a guilty pleasure video than anything else. I just thought it was a gorg tank and then noticed the seahorses!!
It was great talking to you in Orlando. I saw this tank but I didn’t look close enough to realize it had seahorses 😭. I’ve always been intimidated by acanthophyllia because I’ve seen my friends kill them and the price.
Right!? I walked by this thing 100 times before I got close enough to see the little seahorses inside. Loved that surprise! Thanks for stopping me! Always fun to chat!
This is great! Thank you for sharing our Gallery with the world! I was the most excited about this tank out of all of them-I knew it would be a hit! Nick and Johnathon nailed it!
Not sure what you mean by that. The tanks in this booth at Aquashella are auctioned off. Every Aquashella is different though so I doubt there will be something like this in near future.
Oh wow thats so cool! I hope to go to Aquashella Chicago in October. I am going to the swap in St Louis in a couple weeks and saw that you are one of the vendors!
It's nothing to crazy like a bamboo sharks and a smaller sting ray gonna be a little over 300 gallon 96x30x25 tank but I'm in Kentucky as well welcome over any time
Two videos in one week ! I love this 😀
Glad you like them!
Glad to see you making videos
More to come!
Since when is your name “Nathan” 😂
Figured I'd change it up this week, lol!
Nurse sharks. My grandma used to keep them and as a tribute to her, one day i will have a purpose built nurse shark tank.
Wow! That will be an awesome build!
Did your grandmother keep baby sharks? This is so interesting to me. Did she have a huge tank?

Hi Remi, Thanks so much for featuring this tank! Nancy from Aqualife Iconic Aquascaping
You got it!! It was so interesting!

Thanks! It's probably my Sony 90mm Macro. Great lens.
great scape, I am however not sure I would call a small dwarf seahorse/NPS aquarium run on a canisterfilter a simple setup to take care.....
From an equipment standpoint this is a very simple setup. Maintenance, however, would take a different video for sure! Heck the NPS gorgs alone are quite a task.
I was thinking the same... NPS gorgs + seahorses in a small water volume!
Huh.... i always thought oase was pronounced like oasis
Just add it to the list of mispronounced aquatic brands! lol.

Non-photosynthetic corals would be mine.

This guy really makes me want to save and come to aquashella from here in Blighty. I don't know of anything here in the UK.
Thank you for this video.

Nobody is ever bugging me - Next time come say hi!
You would think someone so good at Aqua scaping would do better with their hair.
Thanks Bill. You really made an impact today.
That is such a cool tank setup. Another great video.

YES!! I've talked to several people now who totally missed the seahorses!
@@BahamaLlamaCoral next time I’m going to rig up some sort of flashing neon sign 😜.
Can we buy those pygmy sea horses from them? Drop the link to their website.
It's in the description! Have fun with those little guys!
Awesome video!!!! For me is is seahorses and pipe fish. I love them but I need to really really really do research before I make that commitment
Good that you are doing research. Most people just get them...and kill them. i.e. tons of RUclipsrs. Kudos to you for doing it right!
Is this tank available to the public?
Not sure what you mean by that. The tanks in this booth at Aquashella are auctioned off. Every Aquashella is different though so I doubt there will be something like this in near future.
Hey Nathan(lol) great talking with you at aquashella! Keep the videos coming and thank you.
YO!! Good talking to you too!

2 uploads in a week! Keep them rolling!
As long as I've got the content, it's going out!
Nice tank. For me it’s an nps display.
So many cool corals in that category!
Always wanted a shark and sting ray getting ready to make the dive in my new custom build
That would be AWESOME! Invite me over when you're done!
It's nothing to crazy like a bamboo sharks and a smaller sting ray gonna be a little over 300 gallon 96x30x25 tank but I'm in Kentucky as well welcome over any time
Hey Remi, my name’s Nathan too.
LOL!!! I was like....what if I just throw a random name in this. You win!
Great tank how much how much does it cost
Awesome as always remi
Thank you!
