Hey Gabbs what if I don’t have a family member or friend that is ok with me using there SSN do you have any suggestions on what I should do because I want my customers to be able to use there credit and debit card
I think wipay has an extension for shopify
For the international bank account, can scotia Mastercard be used instead?
I have ah question with that bank account what if you have ah bank account in your home country and the same bank branch is also in one of the countries listed will it still work??

Thanks for sharing. Questions in using a family information to set up ur store, wouldn't this affect them when collecting there taxes? Seeing the government knows everything and it will come up as another income for them?
that’s a good question. it’s something I’ve never considered before . your best bet is definitely to create your own US bank account. it’s always best to have your own especially when you’re running a business.
@@sewquaint So your saying as long as you have a US bank account register your name instead of the family member even though you use their SSN this wont show up when they are filing taxes? Has the family member you used their SSN for ever mentioned it and how do you handle your taxes?
@@sewquaint what process did u go through to get your LLC, EIN & ITIN set up in order to get that US bank account?
If you set up a USD Account using a Jamaica bank can that he used on Shopify
But I have a US bank account with UTC but I do not have a social security number do I still need to ask family in the US for their's
I am still having issues with the payment..i did the steps with the paypal option but i am not seeing it on my website and when i test it ..at check out it tells me that payment option is not there

Hey quaint when you say open a US account do you mean example going to NCB and getting a US account that still qualifies? Would that be able to allow me to get payment from Shopify

@@sewquaint i cant because I dont have any one from overseas to collect the money and send to me😪 but I watched another one of your video and you said on the manual payment it allow you to put your account information and then people overseas can put my information into their bank app and send the money so I think I'll use that option. It's my only option at this point

Using a US address... doesn't that mean your customers would expect their packadge in a certain time frame? Shipping from the Caribbean would take more time than if you live in the US, no?
Customers don’t see your banking details. That includes your address.

Nope, it just gives you an account to have your funds deposited to.

you done know! 😄 you’d access the cash using a bank card from the bank you opened the account with.

Love this. How do you open an account in the US. If you are a Jamaican
The best bank would be Bank of America. Just tell them you’re Jamaican and they ask you for the relevant info. You don’t need a social security number. Just make sure you have a government ID to show.

you can create a payoneer account online but a bank of america one would have to be created in person.

Yes you can but it will still show in the order confirmation as USD.

you have to go to a bank that doesn’t require a social security number to open the account like Bank of America.

This answered a lot of my questions thanks. the only thing I didn’t hear was how we could set up a smooth payment system with suppliers if we were to drop ship
I’m not 100% familiar with drop shipping to be honest. But I believe the way it works is that once someone orders something from your website, the supplier will ship that item, you’ll get your cut and they get they cut of the total cost of the item.
Courtney-Ann S. Suggest you get a local US currency credit card to purchase goods from suppliers from ur alixpress account.

next best thing is to get your own or just do without it.
Are you nuts??!! You can't use someone else's social security number to establish your payment option. They will be held responsible to pay taxes on your earnings. That's not the way to do it if you live in the caribbean.
