It wasn't his job to be put in danger nor did he commit any crime. Where's the parade for him?? The family had to sue to get some basic answers from the police as to what happened. His 3 yr. old daughter is an orphan living with her grandparents now. This is not politics kid, it's real life. Your regimental parade is the politics.

The unknown object turned out to be a cellphone. Those are the facts as we know them, from those that were actually present. Let ASIRT do their job.
