Was an amazing thing to watch, but so sad. Had a few tears several times. Absolutely love the bagpipes. So proud of all who took part, what a magnificent send off for her majesty. May she rest in peace.
As an Englashman, my dad an ex Para, his family all served, relatives died in WW1 & WW2, the pipes bring the milatary alive! I do not want Scotland to leave, we are all a family, even our brothers and sisters in Ireland, I mean who hasnt got Irish blood in them? I wish we could focus on working to become closer and NOT further apart.
The Pipes and drums of the Highlanders. Queens own and Gordon's. The Black Watch. The Royal Highland Fusiliers. The Irish Guards. The Scots Guards. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the RAF Regiment.
Most rousing music in the world. My first job at 18 (63 now) was in Belgravia, London, and the pipers used to march through adjoining streets to various places. If you were walking in the same direction you found yourself walking in step with the guys! Even if you tried to change step you would fall back in. Ha! Fell in love with Scotland and bagpipes from then on. My first girlfriend was Scottish!
Oh, my word!! that was so powerful! One really felt the impact. Thanks for the wonderful video, Military Events. Where are the barracks for 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, in comparison to what we usually see?
It is still a shock for me that her majesty is no longer among us and it’s left a void because growing up the queen was always there and now I find that I hope prince Charles can carry on the mantle
Great send off for Queen Elizabeth the third and were saddened by her death and a lot of people were at her funeral and a big crowd were at her burial and may she and ger husband and her sister all rest in peace Richard 😊😊😅❤😊
You would definitely want the Scots backing you up in any battlefield. For me the best of the best . I remember a normal Scottish regiment was sent into rescue them 7 commandos or marines in the Falklands unfortunately 1 died but mission accomplished a normal Scottish regiment rescue support to be the elite fighting force I remember para in the Falklands war when they said the retake of the Falklands was taken to long at one stage and they decided to call on the 1st battalion black watch to get the job done . As the black watch came of the ship they had actually taken the Falklands this is actually 100% true story . And the biggest compliment my para friend paid to the black watch if you had come sooner we would of taken the Falklands sooner for sure .
And another true story when I was in Berlin I met a German veteran and even he said we could take the English mostly but when we heard a Scottish battalion was there it put fear into us in other words we are fecked
Can someone explain to me what are the men in gold uniforms please. I love all the pomp and ceremony that Britain has. But I would just love to know what these uniforms are.
Drum majors of the Household Division bands wear those gold uniforms on state ceremonial occasions. In this case they would likely be the drum majors of the Scots and Irish Guards bands.
Just for the record Scotland should of split hundreds of years ago from the rest of the UK . I have always felt that England has held Scotland back for many years . It's a bit like the EU running the UK it's going to take at least another 100 yrs before we are free of Europe big big mistake to join in the first place as soon as we did my father said there's trouble ahead and he was right but hey ho not many divorces end amicable lol.
What a great tribute. It would have been even better if you Brits could figure out (I’m pretty sure most any American who puts horses in parades can show y’all how do do it) how to use POOP BAGS on your horses so the rest of the parade participants don’t have to walk through horse shit!
what a moving tribute to the late hm queens funeral thousands turned out to see this funeral and she is resting in peace with her husband sister and every day i think about her funeral and well wishers who payed there respects to her what angered me was some people booing as her coffin was passing i hate that
When I saw the funeral I was sad about this but the most off the people who were booing I was not impressed with the people who were booing and they shouldn't have been doing this for the funeral rip queen Elizabeth ❤😮
No one else does it as well as the British. What a sad day, but her majesty would have been proud. RIP
I beg to differ, Canadians

But if Scotland did leave the UK all current British Army Scottish Regiment's would be disbanded as all Southern Irish Regiment's were in the 12920's.
I think the bagpipes have always been the roar of the British army

It’s the precision of the drums for me
To march, play the pipes and avoid the horse shit at the same time is truly amazing!
Was a bit of a minefield in places but not too fresh. I bet the gardens around there are looking very fertile!!
I may be English but the sound of bagpipes is great.

Pipes and drums of the royal regiment of Scotland royal Scots dragoon guards and the guards
Also at least two from the RAF.
Royal tank Regiment, royal artillery, Scots guard, Irish guards, royal Irish,
This made me cry again.
I think it would better to suggest that these troops are making ready for the funeral profession, very possibly for the final part at Windsor???
Agree. The men came out of Combermere Barracks in Windsor and were heading towards the Long Walk
American here. When i thought of England. The Queen was my first thought.
Wish my grand parents were alive to see this would of brought joy to them
Makes me proud even though I'm English and have never been in the army
As a civilian who didn't serve but whith grandparents that did through ww2 I can't put into words the thanks that we owe to the armed forces.

The Scots Guards were one of the unfittest units during that war and struggled to cover the ground with their kit. That is 100% fact!
The firemen from Trumpton marching behind? 'Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grubb'
