I happen to know several ways that they can get in your house. Legally so im gonna tell you how to avoid having to go to court. First print every paper that says that that is your property. Cause if they even have fake paperwork that the house belongs to them they can change the locks. Im talking every moment even when you go shopping. Keep the real paperwork there. Wherever you go. Secondly: i would advise to add a small alarm system on your windows or door that can detect movement or impacts. Turn it always on when you leave. Make sure that it will loudly go off when detected so that it scares them off.

Your maternal side of the family should take care of your half sister than yourself because of the fact that you have a right to live your life and no one can say otherwise plus they aren't in a position to tell you to take care of your half sister when they are unwilling to do the same thing themselves in the long run,so I say they should not talk about taking care of blood when they are unwilling to do the same thing down the line, problem solved right there big time.

3rdly: i would advise to get a fence on your windows you can open them when you want and lock them again when you leave. That way they should try as hard as they can to break in and they wont cause you also bought those impact windows. 4rthly: Know this is a way that only i can tell you. This is the most brilliant idea to keep ur home uninhabited when you leave. First barricade the fuse box or move it in the aticc or in a basement if u have one, make sure that they wont find the fuse box and they wont be able to open it. Buy a home protect app on your phone, so you will be able to enable electricity via phone . So even if they break in you will turn electricity out making it impossible to live there, there wont be any water, any electricity and not a single thing that functions.But if u resent them soooo much then buy a liquid ass dispenser that you can enable via phone if they come the smell will be so terrible they wont stand it. So, Tea rundown:
OP’s mom and dad are married until OP is 5, when she tells dad that mom keeps brining a man home. This is the Affair Partner and is the bio dad of Half Sister. Dad lets mom keep the house if he gets taken off HS’s birth certificate. Things go smooth-ish until OP is 8 when they get abandoned because AP doesn’t want to bring Op to his family cause OP isn’t his kid. (Assumably OP just got left somewhere once and dad came to get them and got full custody)
Fast forward, OP and HS are 20, OP hasn’t dealt with mom, AP, or HS in years. HS covers for mom cheating on AP with Random Man, and AP abandons mom and HS over this, so mom now gets married to Rando.
Fast forward, OP and HS are 28, and mom finds out HS is sleeping with Rando and Rando’s son (there’s talk of if Son was 18 or not before the deed was done). Mom tosses their things out of the house and changes the locks.
Now, Mom’s family is somehow sympathetic to HS because she says she’s pregnant, but none of them want to put up with her anymore due to her thieving and lying manners. Mom’s mom, who OP has had some contact with, hears about OP having a house and no kids from one of her sons. So Grandma drives HS with a suitcase 6 hours to dump her off on OP’s porch.
OP is greatly confused and tells them in no uncertain terms was HS goin to stay with them, cause they’ve heard tale from a friend that a friend of theirs “stayed only for a week to get their feet under them” and then had to spend months trying to get them out, so OP isn’t even going to invite the possibility of that happening.
Dad and dad’s family are super helpful and supportive of OP to get them through the harassment of the mother’s side of the family and keeping HS and Grandma away.

To the grandmother: lol it is not the same. I was abandoned when I was still a child and needed care for. I was a kid whereas Half sister is a fully grown woman at her abandonment. At which point it would be leaving the nest. She developed a relationship with her mom. I did not have the same luxury. So no. I do not empathize.

She said that if it were a few years ago, she probably would have let her stay, but not now. HS's cousin told OP that she stole a car,, clothes, money from other relatives who tried to help her. She falsely accused a relative of SA. Plus, when she was given money to get clothes and things to get ready for a job interview, she squandered it on stupid things. That side of the family has been burned by HS. They are sick of her and are just trying to pass the buck.
