Hi Dr. Yu we have almost the same autoimmune disease I have severe RA it starts when I was 24 Y.O . I refused to take Methothraxate, Humira and Plaquinil and just eat healthy foods and did a healthy lifestyle. When I saw your videos it was really a realization that I did the right thing to overcome my arthritis . My arthritis still come and goes but I'm a lot better now for so many years and what I learn is that the best thing to do is to treat this. autoimmune disease conservatively and to take it easy on the medication that promised an instant relief because there is no such thing when you treating arthritis pain . Complication with arthritis medication is the worst . I love your videos .I want to thank you for all your effort helping people with autoimmune problem . And by the way I am also a registered nurse . You are the best Dr. Yu thumbs up !!!
In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I discovered that I had rhematoid arthritis. I was in a very bad moment, I was feeling a lot of pain and when I went to the rheumatologist, after tests, she gave me the diagnosis. In 2021, I arrived in the United States from Brazil and since then I have been studying about my disease and videos about it have helped me a lot. Thank you so much!
I, too, found out I have rheumatoid arthritis during the pandemic. After doing some research about breast implant illness, I realized my auto-immune disease and rheumatoid arthritis were caused by my breast implants. Once I removed my implants, my morning stiffness went away the very next day. It's been 5 months since my explant surgery, my flare-ups are gone, my swollen knuckles and feet are back to normal. My liver enzymes were also high, causing body rashes prior to my explant. However, the rashes are now gone, and my liver enzymes are reducing. Diet and lifestyle choices play a big role with the road to recovery 🙏🏽
@marythomas3117 Removing my breast implants was a big part of my symptoms. I didn't take any prescription meds, strictly homeopathic meds. I moved to my native home, Guyana, where I can eat truly organic foods, I only use coconut oil or butter, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meats, and seafood, nothing frozen always buying from the market vendors. I removed breads from my diet, now I eat boiled plantain and eddoe for breakfast. Sometimes, I drink the water I boil them in as well.
I had VIT C, VIT D3, B Complex, Omega 3, Curcumin w/ Boswella, Spirulina, Magnesium glycinate, CoQ10 and Digestive enzymes for my Autoimmune Rhuematoid Arthritis
East Indians nightly make something called golden milk. Ingredients are whole milk, one teaspoon turmeric and a pinch of black pepper simmered over low heat. The fat in the milk and black pepper helps better absorb the chemicals in turmeric. This really reduces my inflammation due to a poor diet and helps me have less stress and sleep better.
For clothes stained with turmeric, I swear by washing as usual and then hanging outside in direct sunlight to dry! The sun is great at removing the stains. ☀️
Dr. Yu TY for sharing your experiences w/ everyone. How brave. I'm not a big meat eater but I do chicken and fish. My problem is anemia (same as a dear friend who had her stomach made smaller due to weight). We need a little meat. Last May I had my gallbladder removed. I'm 78 yrs old. I take supplements like Tudca, Oxbile, and HCL. I have pain in my right hand and my ring finger locks when I bend it. My knees are bone on bone and I don't get around much. Once a month I take a trip and must traverse the airports. Arghhh! I've changed my bread to gluten free and take Ouel's Joint capsules w/turmeric, botswela , and other herbs.
great video, Supplements I use are D3 at 2000iu, K2 at 200ug, magnesium L-threonate at 2100mg which provides 168mg, turmeric curcumin at 3000mg, multi-vitamin, B complex, Iodine 150ug, choline 150mg, omega-3 fish oil at 2000mg. some of these are due to me eating mainly a plant based diet with salmon twice a week. others are due to having lupus SLE with UV sensitivity which is yet to be diagnosed, I will review this once I am able to get levels tested and get a diagnosis. I shouldn't supplement without Dr's approval but I had to try and stop flares while I wait for diagnosis. Any input from Dr Micah Yu would be greatly appreciated.
First of all thanks for all this info! You missed Dead Sea mud and salt. It’s well known for arthritis pain and especially psoriatic arthritis. There were times my hands and joints were so bad not even cortisone helped. I put the mud on my joints and a day or two later the pain and swelling were almost gone! Bathing in the salt is also good but the mud is a winner!! People go all the way to the Dead Sea to heal there.
I take every supplement you mentioned! I had blood tests today to see what type of arthritis I have. Also scheduled tests to check for tendon damage or blood clots!
All blood tests came back normal. No arthritis. Did some research on Zolpidem. WebMD says it’s only for short term use. My endocrinologist has been refilling my Rx for the last 3 years. One of the rare side effects is joint pain. So, I stopped taking it and last night I got very little sleep, if any. It is not going to be easy but not taking it any more.
Vitamin D + MK7, Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) for anti aging, it works, plenty of studies confirm this. Most important of all above supplements is to do your best to get full range of motion in every joint, Yoga is probably the best as an all round option to do this.
I'm new to your channel but not new to the idea of healing through diet and supplements, and went through a lifestyle change my that started in '17. I then suffered a horrible flair-up that put me out of work for 2 months. I got back on my feet, symptoms subsided, but have yet again flared up. This time however targeting my shoulders, arms and hands, more than my legs and knees. Once again I'm unable to work. I had a virtual appointment with my new Rheumatologist this week, my old one retired recently. Previously I was talking Meloxicam daily. The new Rheumatologist now believes I could be suffering from Palindromic Rheumatoid Arthritis. No new bloodwork has been done, yet she prescribed me Methotrexate (6 pills a week + Folic Acid 1 a week ). This was all new to me and in researching Methotrexate, I really didn't like what I see,... and hence ended up finding your channel. My question is: You mentioned using DMARDs for extreme flair-ups, what is considered extreme and how long at what does are these prescribed? I am out of work because the pain is too debilitating to do the things normally required of me. How I can deal with this and in my mind would rather that the rime to naturally heal. * as a note I'm positive that my lack of sickening to my normal dietary protocol and having a drink here and there over the holidays hasn't helped. Any input would be greatly appreciated 😊
I hope you find the answers you are seeking. I went thru a few years of arthritis limbo myself. I finally gave up and just suffered thru the flares. Have you seen a functional medicine doctor? I just started seeing one and have high hope to get my whole body on track.
I was diagnosed ten years ago at 40. I had it since age 4, but was misdiagnosed until I literally couldn't move, dress etc. Methotrexate, arava and an infusion once a month. I got TB took two years of misdiagnosis before I was giving life saving meds. I'm in a bad way, the infusion was pulled out, so I'm usually bedbound with high blood pressure..it's very isolating. At the start my doctor lied and said to keep hopeful, if I had known I would have prepared financially. Tumeric was rubbish for me, i've tried Chinese herbs, indian herbs, naturopathy helped slightly but I used up all my savings as it was hundreds of dollars a week. I take vitD, flaxseed oil, and try to eat a cup of green olives.. takes the brain fog away slightly.
For many years, I used to have a drawer full of supplements for wicked arthritis . Twenty months ago, I switched to the Carnivore diet. Now no aches and pains whatsoever. Now my only supplements are Vitamin D (during the rainy season), daily electrolytes, and iodine. I'm 75 and am enjoying an arthritis, diabetes, and high blood pressure-free life. I'll never go back to eating sugar, grains and other carbs, seed oils, and fruits and vegetables.
Please help me answer this question doctor so you claim that the vegetarian diet healed your arthritis but this gentleman here claim that the carnivore diet which is the complete opposite heal his journey so what is the take on this? Which diet is the best or should I try both and see what works for me?
As an Ayurvedic Consultant, I can vouch for Planet Ayurveda's Boswellia Curcumin Capsules, Yograj Guggul, Coral Calcuim Support and Bone Support. It regulates Vata imbalance and possesses anti-inflammatory properties.
thank you oh so much. i had cortisone and Hyaluronic acid needle. my knee flares are worse than ever.,,I like your approach and going to definitely give your recommendations a try. 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thank you, doc for so precious information. My daughter was diagnosed with JIA when she was 5. Now she is 10. Because of so many side effects of MTX that I heard of, I did not accept medication for her. Than I started to look for info about this disease, about other ways to help her, than mtx. We started doing Kinetotherapy, excersises in salt water pools, massage with essential oils. It was way better after a short time. But in time my financial possibilities where not the same as in the beginning so we could not go enymore to the pools, kinetotherapists, etc and her health went pretty bad. Last weak the reumatologist has seen her and told we MUST accept MTX. In your opinion, should we do it or should we try once more the "natural way"? Now many of her joints are not "moveable" anymore. Is there way to "fix"something, ir if those joints are already distructive, there is no chance to help? Thank you in advance for your advise/response
Doctors can't advise strangers online but I have an opinion: try meds. Leave the strongest ones for last if it makes you feel better but you need to help your child ASAP. The disease does permanent damage when left unchecked.
You need a MIRACLE! Please find ALIVE Christian church - people there will PRAY over your daughter and she WILL GET HEALED! Jesus & Holy Spirit do HEAL! Amen!
Love your info! Thank you! What kind of doctor are you? And would you be covered by Blue Cross PPO? I’m trying to find a doctor like you, combining a biological if needed but also using diet and supplements. I live in Austin and I can’t find anyone 😣😣😣
I love your style. I wish I had stumbled on this earlier as mum experiences so much joint pains. Can you speak a bit on memory loss and skin health plz.
Thank you Dr.for this information,i really needed this because recently I was diagnosed with spondylosis in the spine and i have been taking med's with no success.
Thanks for the info!!! Just diagnosed with seronegative RA Rheumatologist wants me to take methotrexate. I've had cancer and don't want to take it. Went to a functional dr waiting on blood work praying supplements will be the answer!
Thank you for your great channel! I just discovered it and from the several videos I just watched I've learned so much about managing autoimmune inflammatory diseases! Plant based diet! Bingo!
my mominlaw lived with rheumatoid arthritis for years. She take this natural immune supplement called 4Life Transfer Factor that helps with autoimmune diseases. it helps to balance and educate the immune system, and tumeric to reduce inflammation. she's now borderline with good white blood cell counts and doing so well.
My rheumatologist is having me on 50,000 unit and the last time my lab test was 120 so I stopped taking it once a week but once every 13 days , she isn’t testing me and frankly I have no trust in her . I’m allergic to vitamin D3 so she has put me on D2 and I found out myself that to take magnesium with that. Do you suggest what I’m doing ? Frankly I found out about RH all by myself researching everything for few months and now I’m more knowledgeable than my pompous doctor :) Wishing I had found you earlier all in one cause I spend a lot of time researching every little thing . Im so glad you are out there to help people 🙏🏻❤️
Hello. Thank you for sharing much needed medical information. Please tell me what I need to take to stop my fingers from getting deformed. Both my little fingers are now deformed at joints, my right hand more. Also, is deformation of joints only a sign of rheumatoid or can it also be another form of form of arthritis?? Thank you.
I would like to know more about how RA affects muscles, tissue between joints, like between knees and ankles ect. I have lot of pain all over as well as joints. Had seronegative since late teens now 62
Turmeric seems to do absolutely nothing for me. I have tried it in several different forms and for months at a time in each form, but it does not seem to affect my RA at all. I take CBD oil (also contains Omega-3s) and vitamin D every day. I also use a supplement called "activated phenolics", which has really been helpful in reducing inflammation, so I recommend it to my friends with RA.
So change the doctor! He knows nothing. Unforunatelly, most of doctors don't bekieve in diets, herbs, natural remedies... they were taught only what medicines presribe to relieve the pain...not to treat and as we know lots of medicines have severe side effects... we should know what is good and bad for us. Most of tge medicnec help for one thing but destroys others and new diseases appear.
Turmeric never help me with my inflammation in my arthritis, i buy mine from a health food store and is a very good one , so i was going to ask you that if i can take vitamin D plus Boswellia or MSN and Vitamin D , i don't want to have side effects , i already going to a lot of pain in my knee, thanks for sharing this video, have a Blessed day🙏❤
Hi Dr. Yu. I’m glad I found your channel! No doc had ever correlated that tumeric supplements caused my liver numbers to go high, even when I told them that was the change I made (in taking Relief Factor) between my last labs. I got referred to a GI who ran a whole gammot of tests- even going up to checking me for liver cirrhosis with a thumping machine! So my question is, if tumeric supplements aren’t working for my body (actually it helps a lot) with throwing my liver off, then what other supplements should I bulk up on? Btw, I have AS and I can’t Not take anything on a daily basis. I take tumeric(in RF) 3x daily. Thanks so much!!
Hi, I’m on methotrexate and also taking supplements daily. D3 10,000 iu’s with vitamin K. MSM and omega 3s. I have a lot on leg and knee pain . Doctor says I have knee spurs. Back hurts sometimes. I try to watch my diet avoiding inflammation ingredients. But I’m still in pain.
My rheumatologist of 15 years has never offered any information on nutrition for RA. I started doing my own research, and started leaning heavily anti-inflammatory. When my cholesterol and inflammation marker started to decrease, I shared my changed with my doctor. He was quite dismissive about my diet change having any effect on my inflammation marker. On my most recently visit he only recommended to keep doing what I'm doing because I haven't had any flares for a while.
I use turmeric and krill oil supplements. Otherwise, I eat foods with anti-inflammatory properties, such as nuts, seeds, fruit, vegetables, legumes. I limit ultra-processed foods. I'm not on a strict (or highly restrictive) diet. I highly recommend the book "Eat to Beat Disease" by Dr William Li. This was one of my main sources of inflammation. Best of luck to you.
Thank you, thank you, Doctor Yu, for all the good information!! I am taking tumeric, omega 3, Vit D. My Vitamin D labs have always been normal. I took MSM at the beginning of my diagnosis and quit, because it didn't help at all. Thanks again!!
Thank you dr I have sjogens desease and I take plaquinell my dry mouth and dry eyes are better but my kidney function is not good Fr is 60 do you have some advice for me .
hi dr.ur explanation is very interesting to listen to,i was diagnosed with rheumatoid athrities, andmy 3rd finger was crooked or the called swan neck is there any ointment or spray medication that make my 3rd finger straigth.thnku pls. let m know
Biofreeze, or Melaleuca Pain A Tate, and massage strongly! Helps my back too. Don't use until you have done your facial routine! I also take an 800mg ibuprofen and 2 Excedrin. This combination gives me great relief in my fingers and keeping them straight. I have to wake up half an hour early to do this before getting ready for the day. The first thing I do, is wash my hands in the hottest water I can tolerate for 5 minutes, and then massage w Hawaiian Tropic moisturizer after Sun lime colada... It has many good natural ingredients, oils and butters. Hope this helps. I'm a dental hygienist, and my hands have to work. Prednisone short term for really bad flares.
I would like you to talk about dosages will definitely help a lot I'm from South Africa i really enjoy your programs it is very informative keep up the good work i have tried just about everything to get my appetite back i havn't had anything to eat in weeks like absolutely nothing and i have rheumatoid arthritis which has now flared up tremendously tx Doc hope you can help
Dr Yu, thank you for your video. It is very informative. do you see patients with Sjogren’s disease? What kind of food/ diet and vitamins that may help improve the dryness in mouth and eyes, in particular. And how to differentiate a hip pain is due to RA or any form of arthritis or it is due to normal aging process, the wear & tear .I am 67. Appreciate your comment.
Hi doctor, I recently got diagnosed with RA. I was put on cizma 200ml biweekly. I am not sure if its working for me. How I can find out if cizma is working for me? Please advise me. I am starting to have really bad pain on my knees.
I am 66 yrs old woman. I have bone on bone knees good days sore days. I do have slight arthritis in 3 fingers on right had. My parents and grandparents had it.. I do take daily 1200 mg of calcium, 2000 D3, magnesium 3 x 1200 mg fish oil, b12 , 5000 mg biotin. I take lisinopril 40 mg for BP and 10 mg antorvastin cholesterol mrd And 5 mg amlopidine for BP. I also take 1 baby aspirin daily. Is it OK to take 2 capsules of TriFlexarin..which has turmeric in it? U mentioned if taking a thinner could be bad for stomach with tumeric..is baby aspirin a thinner I should worry about? Thank u so much.
I tske all the supplements you mentioned. They are a mouthful. I use Btomelain as well. If you don't think Bromelain is as good, then I'll drop it. What do you think?
C Wil it be effective if I use only one supplement like vitamin D. Coz I've been using it already. It's only now that I feel the arthritis in my right knee. Pls is advise.
Thank you. What about boron and dandelion root? I just started boron supplements and took it years before with a green juice diet and it helped stop the bad flare ups. Sadly over the years my bad American diet is back with menaopause I had bad hot flashes for 2 years and just got on the pill form of estrace, prometrium and 1.5 grain Armour thyroid. No more meneaopause symptoms, but I'm having the worst RA flare up in 10 years. All over joint pain especially my hands and shoulders I'm thinking it's the estradiol. I'm 60 and had a, hysterectomy at 35. Bio identical progesterone cream for the last 15 years I think helped keep menaopause at bay til a couple yeas ago. My bone density is good, but had to have RFA twice for disk spondylitis in lower back. I'm too young for this, lol. Any advice. Turmeric upsets my stomach. I have stomach issues but they said H pylori was the cause nothing else.
Hi ,love your vidoes.im loosing bone density, what can I do. Also i have rhematoid and oesteoarteritis. Im vegetarian. My levels are not high. I am trying to get on to complete good eating plan . Does avocado not have the omega oils? Thank you for your videos. Im ftom South Africa
Many formulations of Tumeroc contain lead. I am in the medical field. I’ve worked with our county unlicensed health nurse to try to decrease lead poisoning in children of families that use a lot of turmeric in cooking. How do you find safe turmeric?
Thank you once again for this valuable information on supplements. I am alreadt taking some of them together with other supplements. Please advise on what type of exercises are suitable for someone with problems with the spine. Over the years the spaces between the discs have reduced to nothing and ive lost 3 cm in height 😒
Thank you for this video, great information. I have RA that has greatly affected my wrist. If my inflammation decreases is it possible to regain mobility in my wrist?
My RA was affecting my (right) wrist to the point where I was wearing a brace every day for months. I ended up getting a cortisone injection on that wrist, and it really helped. After that, I have been very careful to try to avoid flare-ups by taking my methotrexate every week and supplementing with Vitamin D, CBD oil, magnesium and activated phenolics every day. My wrist is back to normal now for about 2 years.
Hi doc! Hope all is well with u and your family. May i ask if i can take all the supplements that u mentiones altogether? I have signs of arthritis. And my CRP was 143.9 mg/L and ESR was 80. It was extremely high. To the point that psoriasis appeared and spread really fast. And i also have pain on my hands/wrist, stiff knee and feet that never goes away. It's been a month now since i experienced these symptoms. Pls help me 😢😢😢
Also try Forever Living Products Forever Freedom juice which has MSM and Forever Active HA if available in your area Forever Arctic C fish oil too I use this for my mother. To some extent some relief. 🤞
How would you know what kind of arthritis you have after having a gout? Do you develop arthritis in say 3 months time although there is also no one in the family who has it?
What do think of plaquenil? I have RA and have been taking 2 plaquenil a day for ten years. I’ve had no side effects with it and my Rheumatologist wants me to cut down to 1 1/2 pills a day. My eyes are in good condition, not affected by plaquenil and since I’ve cut down to 1 1/2, I’m having a lot of pain and a little flares. I’d like my doctor to put me back on 2 a day again. It’s a new doctor for me thar has cut me down to 1 1/2 pills a day. My original doctor retired. I really liked your video that’s why I’m texting you. Thanks for any thoughts about these questions.
Hello, I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I’m presently on methotrexate and folic acid but would like to discontinue with the meds and try reversing this disease naturally. I’ve changed my diet omitting gluten, dairy, meats, I only eat fresh fish, no shellfish, refined sugar and processed foods. I exercise daily, swimming in the ocean, dance, walking but I am still having regular flare ups. I am going to try the supplements you’ve suggested but would like to know if I am to take all of them and how many and the strength for each I should be taking. Thanks

My question is:
You mentioned using DMARDs for extreme flair-ups, what is considered extreme and how long at what does are these prescribed?
Try garlic on empty stomach. Chew it raw
Carnivore diet.
For many years, I used to have a drawer full of supplements for wicked arthritis
. I'll never go back to eating sugar, grains and other carbs, seed oils, and fruits and vegetables.
glad to hear about your journey to healing arthritis.
I’ve heard about this diet and I was thinking about trying it myself
@@ingridhoadley6857 For an intro, watch KenDBerry MD Carnivore Checklist.
Thanks for sharing. You are so lucky. I am going to give it a try.
This information is what I needed. Thank you so much!
Please do an in depth video on rheumatoid arthritis & its treatment!!!🙏

Same for me, injection in my thumb joint. It's now worse.
Thank you Dr. Yu for sharing this information with us
My pleasure
I take vitamin c and d3 with msm. Also take omega3. At night i take vitamin B, Magnesium along with glucosamine.
Amen!
Any update???
Love your info! Thank you! What kind of doctor are you? And would you be covered by Blue Cross PPO? I’m trying to find a doctor like you, combining a biological if needed but also using diet and supplements. I live in Austin and I can’t find anyone 😣😣😣
thank you so much! I see patients virtually. You can check here for an appointment drlifestyle.org
I love your style. I wish I had stumbled on this earlier as mum experiences so much joint pains. Can you speak a bit on memory loss and skin health plz.
I will. Thank you for watching.
Thank you Dr.for this information,i really needed this because recently I was diagnosed with spondylosis in the spine and i have been taking med's with no success.
Thanks for the info!!! Just diagnosed with seronegative RA
Rheumatologist wants me to take methotrexate. I've had cancer and don't want to take it. Went to a functional dr waiting on blood work praying supplements will be the answer!
No problem! If you need telemedicine I am available. Www.drlifestyle.org I do both functional medicine and rheumatology
Thank you so much for responding! Checking out your website now!!
I took methtrexate for many years. It is not as strong as the stuff they give cancer patients. It never effected me at all but everyone is differant
You’re the best!! Conventional medicine ruins other parts of your body instead of getting any better
thank you
Blessings to you Dr, so informative and soothing 🥰
Thank you kindly!
Thank you for your great channel! I just discovered it and from the several videos I just watched I've learned so much about managing autoimmune inflammatory diseases! Plant based diet! Bingo!
You are welcome!
Thank you so much. my mother has RA is 218 . My mother has lots of joint pains in legs .
my mominlaw lived with rheumatoid arthritis for years. She take this natural immune supplement called 4Life Transfer Factor that helps with autoimmune diseases. it helps to balance and educate the immune system, and tumeric to reduce inflammation. she's now borderline with good white blood cell counts and doing so well.
Researchers have shown that artichoke also helps to reverse fatty liver and protects and rebuilds the liver.
What's your comment on that?
will need to look into it
My rheumatologist is having me on 50,000 unit and the last time my lab test was 120 so I stopped taking it once a week but once every 13 days , she isn’t testing me and frankly I have no trust in her . Im so glad you are out there to help people 🙏🏻❤️
I was on social media for past couple years but just started RUclips not too long ago. I'm glad you found me!
Take D +K2. It helps body to absorb D.
I take vit d5000 mg K2 50 mg. My D is perfect now
Thank you and God bless you for that information you are giving to us !
You are so welcome
Thank you so much for the above info. Pls advise if I can take more than one different supplement at the same time. Thanks
Hello. Thank you for sharing much needed medical information. Please tell me what I need to take to stop my fingers from getting deformed. Both my little fingers are now deformed at joints, my right hand more. Also, is deformation of joints only a sign of rheumatoid or can it also be another form of form of arthritis?? Thank you.
deformation can be from any arthritis
Thank you so much Dr., you're God sent, may you be blessed
After dx then vit D showed up low. Now low T3 + nodules so starting turmeric. Omega 3 is new info. Exhausting fighting RA. Thx!!
You got this!
I would like to know more about how RA affects muscles, tissue between joints, like between knees and ankles ect. I have lot of pain all over as well as joints. Had seronegative since late teens now 62
I appreciate all the knowledge you share. I have to read the transcript because the music is very irritating.
Taking all but the last one. Thank you for the confirmation!
Hi DR I just start following your informations about rheumatoid arthritis thank you so much, I have lots of joints pain.
You are very welcome
Turmeric seems to do absolutely nothing for me. I have tried it in several different forms and for months at a time in each form, but it does not seem to affect my RA at all. I take CBD oil (also contains Omega-3s) and vitamin D every day. I also use a supplement called "activated phenolics", which has really been helpful in reducing inflammation, so I recommend it to my friends with RA.
Thanks for sharing!
Vitamin D3, K2,with coconut MCT and magnesium essential to for absorption !!!
Very informative, my rheumatologist says foods have nothing to do with RA😢 Can you speak about the jaw cracking and is it RA related?
So change the doctor! He knows nothing. Unforunatelly, most of doctors don't bekieve in diets, herbs, natural remedies... they were taught only what medicines presribe to relieve the pain...not to treat and as we know lots of medicines have severe side effects... we should know what is good and bad for us. Most of tge medicnec help for one thing but destroys others and new diseases appear.

Turmeric never help me with my inflammation in my arthritis, i buy mine from a health food store and is a very good one , so i was going to ask you that if i can take vitamin D plus Boswellia or MSN and Vitamin D , i don't want to have side effects , i already going to a lot of pain in my knee, thanks for sharing this video, have a Blessed day🙏❤
I also use MSM! I get it in a powder form and just add it to my electrolytes with water I take on my walk each day.
Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent information! ❤Thank you sooo much! 🙏We need it!
You are so welcome
Hi Dr.
Like your vedeo dr Rigth now im suffering artritis lots of pain now I will follow your advice Gid bless you Dr
Thanks!
Try Glucosamine and condriton. It helps the bones. I had severe back, neck and knee pain.
What is your diet and what supplements do you take. Please respond 🙏
@@janellison5011 thanks
Thank you, thank you, Doctor Yu, for all the good information!! I am taking tumeric, omega 3, Vit D. My Vitamin D labs have always been normal. I took MSM at the beginning of my diagnosis and quit, because it didn't help at all. Thanks again!!
You are so welcome!
Hi Dr, I am from India and I am also RA patient you can try yoga basically pranayam it does miracle to bodies

Thank you so much Doctor for this info. What about Avascular Necrosis and rheumatoid arthritis?
what can you say about it?
hi dr.ur explanation is very interesting to listen to,i was diagnosed with rheumatoid athrities, andmy 3rd finger was crooked or the called swan neck is there any ointment or spray medication that make my 3rd finger straigth.thnku
pls. let m know
Biofreeze, or Melaleuca Pain A Tate, and massage strongly!
Prednisone short term for really bad flares.
how about Glucosamine chondroitin? whats your opinion? its very common and popular. tnx
Glucosamine chondroitin is excellent for arthritis. I been taking it 6 months now and have barely any pain.
I. Like how you mentioned the side effects and dosing cause I took someone else’s advice and ended up in the \ER with stomach pains
Good work Dr. Currently on prednisolone for RA since December and I want to stop it for this remedy. Can you advise pls?
I was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my back and I have scoliosis
Will the scoliosis worsen because of the Ra?
I am 66 yrs old woman. I have bone on bone knees good days sore days. I do have slight arthritis in 3 fingers on right had. My parents and grandparents had it.. I tske all the supplements you mentioned. They are a mouthful. I use Btomelain as well. If you don't think Bromelain is as good, then I'll drop it. What do you think?
Yes doc ,my Rheumatologist never mention about supplements. Only lab test and meds maintenance ...
Same here, but they don't make money off supplement
Same here. She only required me to take calcium supplement.
Cant Stand doctor s
That's because they don't make money off them as they do with prescription drugs.
Mine tried to force me on the meds, she refused to work with me in seeking out supplements.
Can you take tumeric with dmards.i was on humira do you think it's ok to start humira back if I had a serious bacterial infection or prone to fungus
Hi i am thinking about trying Manuka honey & apple cider vinegar to supplement my diet in my struggle with RA. Do you think this is worth a try?.
C
Wil it be effective if I use only one supplement like vitamin D. Coz I've been using it already. It's only now that I feel the arthritis in my right knee. Pls is advise.

I'd love to hear your advice for suffering with Scleroderma- CREST Syndrome. Thank you
I will make a video about Scleroderma. Thank you for watching.
Thank you so much@@MYAutoimmuneMD
Thanks so much . I will try this on my mum
What is recommended dosage for tumeric supplements, pill form? Is it better to use spices over pills? Or raw tumeric?
I take all of these and they have help immensely .
Great!!
This Chanel is so good. Thanks for sharing. What about inflammatory arthritis?
Coming soon!
Do I take all of these supplements together at once?
Or take whichever (one) works for me when I need it?
Many formulations of Tumeroc contain lead. I am in the medical field. I’ve worked with our county unlicensed health nurse to try to decrease lead poisoning in children of families that use a lot of turmeric in cooking. How do you find safe turmeric?
Thank you once again for this valuable information on supplements. I am alreadt taking some of them together with other supplements.
Please advise on what type of exercises are suitable for someone with problems with the spine. Over the years the spaces between the discs have reduced to nothing and ive lost 3 cm in height 😒
One of the other commentstors talked about static bicycle and swimming.
My wrist is back to normal now for about 2 years.
possibly, every patient is different, talk to your doctor about this question
Is there anything to take for chronic fatigue? 🙏

Pls help me 😢😢😢
everyone is different. some people can tolerate them together, some cant, please talk to your doctor
@@MYAutoimmuneMD noted on this. ty so much! :)
Could you do a video on polymyalgia rheumatics. Friend needs wisdom on how to treat. Thanks.
Absolutely!
I just subscribed thanks so much for the explanation Dr.
Welcome!
Do you have a specific brand that you prefer for the supplements you’ve talked about.
Thanks
there are a lot of good ones, pure encapsulations, life extension, metagenics, etc
You have to be evaluated with labs and see a rheumatologist to see if anything else is going on
What do think of plaquenil?
Thanks
Use vitamin D3, and iodine. Get of that methotrexate it'll kill ya...
