uh oh. ur channel looks super fun to watch... i adore watching efforts like these to do big restoration projects and im very excited to watch.... funny enough part 4 of this is what came into my feed but im as boingy as ever to watch :3
I'm just starting my own retro video game collection and also starting to learn how to repair them so this video series will be a really interesting content to me :)
lol thanks! That is actually one that I don't have a lot of experience with so I'll get to eventually but I'm not sure when. And hopefully it is repaired then...
That's the plan! I know OG Xbox console has a problem with the clock caps so that may be causing some of the issues with the ones I have currently. We will see...
Thank you, I did. Those I could actually check all the traces on unlike with Pokemon Pinball. Everything tested great with a multimeter so I'm just stumped at what might be the issue with them. Bad chips? No idea...
This is cool, I don’t think I can work on an Xbox, I just fix the older stuff I love fixing nes cart and sega Genesis carts bring something back from the dead is awesome. I never filmed anything of my fixes I may do that in the future!

Awesome, thank you! Happy to have you as a new viewer of the series! There will be more to come!
Great idea for a video series! Looking forward to all future episodes, and keep up the great work 👍
Thank you! I'm interested to see how it all turns out myself too.

Great, glad I can help! Good luck with your collecting too!
Nice to see you back making videos. That's a crazy amount of OG Xboxs with one lone PS2 in there. Lol.
Yeah... I have like 25 of them or more...
Awesome! When you repair ,or not, the PSOne I’ll take it off your hands 👍

I would love to see you clean, repair and recap consoles
You put in the work you can sell for more and make sure customers have long lasting consoles

@@gamejaeger that and Game Gears too, you pretty much have to recap them everytime
Oh yeah... I've seen very few in the wild that are still good without new caps. It's pretty much a 100% failure rate over time.
You probably did it already, but I would check out the traces for pins 9 and 26 on home alone 2; also, traces 13-17 and 21 for Hamtaro. Best of luck!

Xbox isn't too bad, just takes some time to go through and diagnose the issues, but glad I can inspire some more fixes to happen with others!
