Thanks! More to come since I still have a lot of them left too lol. And if I can't control my urge to buy deals then probably more after that too haha.
Get an ozone generator for the gross smoke smell game gear. I've picked up quite a few gross items over the years that leaving them in my garage with an ozone generator got rid of the stink.
Good to see you putting out your products. Has inspired me to get my systems finished and ready to sell. I decided to learn on Xbox 360's. learning is fun!
It could be overheating, too much voltage, they get old, or they weren't correctly made in the first place which causes a failure. I've always only seen them crack and ooze before this video though. When they go bad it's typically not so forceful.
I’ve done exactly this tracerot repair on a 1.2 motherboard today. I use 0.1mm PCB wire to bridge like 1-1,5cm befor the break and solid 1-1.5cm after the break. 🤓
hello, I see you have an expertee for repairing electronics, and I have an original ds from 2004 with a broken ds reader, but I cannot find a replacement, what should I do
Like how broken of a reader are we talking? Like smashed in on the floor and it's in pieces kinda broken? or it just won't read games broken? If it just won't read games then I 'd do a very thorough, in depth cleaning on the entire area inside. If it's smashed to pieces and falling apart then you probably would need a donor console and take the parts you need from one to fix the other. Hope that helps!
Right? The smoke smell is so hard to remove because its turns into a residue that coats everything. But I'm good with the animal hair, I don't know how I feel about bugs being better though. I probably would take the smoke filled console over bugs any day lol.
Great to see someone else doing some OGX repairs! 👍

That's a great idea too.

That is awesome! Best of luck with your repairs too!
What makes the capacitors explode? Overheating?
Thanks for the video. Always good to see people repairing rather than just discarding.

I actually already fixed this one for the next episode and I was using 30 gauge magnet wire and just bypassed the whole run. It worked really well.
where are you getting the belts from? i need some for the ogxbox and ps2 in bulk but having a hard time finding any
I've been getting them from eBay and Amazon. I have a link in the description for the exact ones too.

Hell yeah massive part :3
lol
I smoked cigarettes for aboit 20 years amd now haven't in almost 2. I couldn't agree with you more. I didn't realize how bad that smell actually is
Congrats on quitting! Yeah it really seeps into everything too.
Wow those xbox feet are way too expensive
Yeah they were a bit much for also being the wrong color too. I'll use the ones a have but I probably wont be buying them again.
I saw one seller on eBay asking £40:00 for the rubber feet. It defeats me why they ask so much.
@@gamejaeger you can even 3d print them at home kowadays with TPU
That's an idea, would be way cheaper if you have a 3D printer available that can do it.
do you have absolutely gigantic hands?
No, pretty sure they are normal sized hands lol.
The consoles that small like stale smoke are the worst. Take forever to clean. I'd rather deal with roaches or animal hair.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaay :D
Glad you enjoyed lol
