I love this. Well done, sir! I think sharing videos like your with clients is much more effective than me repeating the same thing over and over, only to be repeatedly ignored like a parent telling a child why they shouldn't do the thing he or she is doing.
Thank you Darren! Great post filled with some great advice. This has confirmed some of my thinking with Google posts for my clients, especially the case studies. Definitely something I feel every business should be taking advantage of. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this info and I look forward to implementing more of this going forward and watching the results.
Great video normally, I use Google post when I post all my listed properties or all my close properties so people can see what type of deals that I’m doing I think that is a great idea and I also think that is a great idea as I have so many reviews already thank you
4:3 ratio. We usually go with 1200x900. Be sure to center your subject because the image gets displayed in different sizes across the knowledge panel, local finder, and Maps.
Oh boy. I spent sooo long trying to dig up good examples for this video. The reality is that most businesses are doing them wrong, so it can be hard to find good examples. I would suggest you take my advice from this video and lead the charge in your industry.
@@WhitesparkCa Right. Here's the thing, I need to post nearly every day and I'm running out of things to post. Because it is against Google's rules to post the same pic multiple times I need to find new ideas every day. That's why I like doing the type of social posts that you aren't a fan of. We don't have sales or daily deals as we are in real estate. Suggestions?
"key words in your google post have no impact on raking" Incorrect. I started to put keywords on my posting about a month ago. I did not show up in the SERP , not even in the 12th page. Now i am ranking second using key words "service+location " in my postings. The SERP shows up my business in the serp in two positions of the first page , one the website and the other the posting on my GMB post.
Correlation is not causation. What other SEO things were you doing during this time period? Did you get more reviews? Did you update your business name? Did you update your categories? Did you make any changes on your website? All testing done so far on Google Posts (where the posting was isolated from other variables) has shown that they have no impact on rankings. But, google does update their algorithm all the time, so it’s possible that Posts now have an impact.
@@WhitesparkCa no changes previous. yes we asked forreviews we got 3 now a total of 8. no name changes. same category as before. i am only using the free web page that came with gmb. I have found that when people start posting regularly to Google, they're also working on other SEO strategies at the same time: addign additional categories, getting more reviews, building citations, updating content on their site, etc. So, they see rankings go up and think "Google Posts are helping!", but in reality it's all the other things that are actually fueling the ranking gains. People who have tested Google Posts in isolation of any other SEO work have found that rankings didn't move at all. I'm running some tests now and will report back in about a month!
screenshot the review, maybe add a little graphic design pizzazz and upload it to Posts saying "wow look how happy our clients are" (not word of word, of course) :)

Yes, those bold keywords are called justifications, and they get pulled from various sections of your GBP, including your Posts. They still don't impact rankings, but they can be great for conversions :) I have an in-depth twitter thread on justifications if you'd like to learn more: twitter.com/DarrenShaw_/status/1625552200532656128
Not sure I understand what you mean. When you say “clint” do you mean “client?” Are looking for clients that you can sell reviews to? If so, then please do it do that. It’s against Google’s guidelines to write fake reviews and you could get your clients GBP suspended.

And who really scrolls through to find and read Google posts in the first place? Our data from hundreds of gbps shows people view photos but rarely read posts.
While it's not a huge % of the people that view the profile, the ones that do look at them CONVERT. 12,000 views, 1% look at posts (120 people), 5 people convert. That's 5 more sales than your business would have gotten otherwise. WORTH IT.

Can you please Explain more about google Business Profile Post . How we can Post For Client Local Business
Google renamed Google Posts to Google Updates. So, to publish a Post, you need to go to the NMX and click "add update"
@@WhitesparkCa my question is what should post in google update
about services etc like that??

How would you display a Google Review as a Post?
screenshot the review, maybe add a little graphic design pizzazz and upload it to Posts saying "wow look how happy our clients are" (not word of word, of course) :)
What about deleting the blog post? since its not helpful? thanks
