- As Covid cases surge, key workers are back in the spotlight.
Many of them are immigrants, like bus driver Doreen Berchie from Ghana.
She's helped to keep London's transport network going throughout the pandemic, driving doctors and nurses to hospital.
But it hasn't been without risk and she's watched colleagues and friends suffer and pass away from Covid-19.

I wouldn't be a bus driver, putting up with the ugly public and their entitled attitude ! No thanks.
Well you have to have a certain character to deal with them. But fair enough many dont want to have that job.
@@Matt-di6nb My next door neighbour here in North Yorkshire was a bus driver in London and he said that people would get on the bus and just throw the money at him and not even say the fair that they wanted ! They'd be under the bus wheel with me if they did that with me !

People aren't mainly bus drivers just for people most people are drivers bc they enjoy actually controlling the bus, I want to do that but bc Londons getting electric buses in a lot of places bc of ULEZ I might not as electric buses are really boring imo
