    I remember singing that day! wow! Hashan Kehk Traditional Basket Dancers & Uhs Kehk Elders did a great job! I feel pride everytime I watch this video...I still don't know who posted it without our permission but still I like it. R.I.P. Monica Howard & McKala Nish....may you dance on in our hearts & dearest memories...

    BY THE WAY THESE SONGS AND DANCES ARE FROM THE AKIMEL O'ODHAM (RIVER PEOPLE)...HASHAN KEHK FROM GILA RIVER...THEY ARE NOT TOHONO O'ODHAM SONGS.

    I am 1/4 Pima (Akimel O'odham) registered with the GRIC, my grandmother was a full-blood, last name Sosolda. She could speak fluent Akimel O'odham. This video is amazing. It brought tears to my eyes.

    wow ...really different...My tribe we got a basket dance aswell..but not quite lik dis...Da ladies do da singing n there is 2 ladies in da middle of da cirlce throwing out stuff n at da end dey bring out there Hopi baskets dey made n Pottery n hopi belts..n throw it 2 da crowd in the plaza..Its awesome I always look 4ward 2 dis every yr in Oct...But 1st time seeing a dance lik dis...

    ah cool!! Hashan Kehk sharing the dance! that's great! dang, is that what the muesum looks like on the inside? I TRIED to go over there, but I guess it was closed :( but it's really pretty & the baskets are BEAUTIFUL!!and I LOVE Mr. Jackson's voice!! he's one of my favorite O'odham singers! Thanks for posting this!
    I unno what I do wrong, but youtube won't take a vid of my dance group performing in Komatke :( and Vanette if you see this... hollar at your Native!
