that "brass" pedestal table is a really cool idea. You could also use some Rub-n-Buff on it over the spray paint to potentially get a more realistic brass look :)

Wow that stoneware you found at Goodwill was an incredible snag! I live in south FL, and the Goodwills here have gotten so pricey, those dishes would have been $2-3/per piece. I used to really enjoy thrifting, but now the prices make it discouraging, so I haven't been in a long time.
I'm so sorry for your loss of that beautiful little member of your family. I lost my dog nine years ago and still think about him every day. It's so helpful to hear your observations as your shop Arhaus. The deer candleholder is stunning and certainly worth the money.

My goodnrss , those thrift store prices are insane! I can't believe that last vase was $1 and $2 for the crock!! That would have cost at least $5 and $10 at my local thrift stores. Suck luck. I loved all of these thrift flips and am inspired to flip some of my own stuff I've been purchasing and storing away. Also, that little brass like side table you DIYd, genius idea and the that 2nd dark spray paint you used to give it a garnished look actually looked like perfect speckling which I'll definitely try on some of my own thrift flips. Thanx so much for sharing!!

I just found you, and I’m so impressed with your dupes! I loved the blue dinnerware you found at Goodwill.! I actually like it better than the original! I don’t know if you are aware of this but those black marks that are on the dinnerware can actually be removed! Just use the cleanser “bar keeps friend” and they will come off! I always thought they were marks in the surface of the dinnerware. They’re not! They’re marks that are on top of the glaze! Try it it works!

The closest Arhaus for me is in Austin, Texas (I'm in San Antonio). Might be worth the road trip, but for now I'll stick with their online store.

U missed the link to the “antique brass”spray paint?? I know u pointed out the rustoleum in the color champagne mist…the other can I showed doesn’t show the color 😢??? My favorite to use so far for the “brass” tones is Rust-Oleum in Pure Gold then work with some gilting paint or rub n buff to achieve the right patina! What’s the link or name of that brand & color you used on the table?? Thank you 🙏
