@@CrazeeAdam naaaawwww, I’m a HUGE Eminem fan. But it’s very obvious that his style of rapping has changed dramatically. Look at how natural his rhymes & flow are in SSLP, MMLP, TES, and even relapse, somewhat. His catalog was a thing a beauty and unmatched at the times of release.
His rhyming now is wack compared to his old stuff. It feels so robotic and corny. Doesn’t come off as a fluid as it once did. Yeah he’s still got bars but I wish he still had that old flow and style

This is what people talk about when they say they miss the old Eminem. But he said it in multiple interviews. Around this time he was still blowing up and he had that hunger and be the best. After a certain point he was the best. And he didn't have that same fire lit under his ass. He didn't have that same motivation. And he didn't have that same anger either because obviously after a while people realize his talent so not as many people were going against him. And now it seems like it's slowly repeating itself. Also I think a lot of it is nostalgia. People remember back listening to Eminem for the first time and they got that certain feeling from it. And now that he's been around for 25 years they keep wanting to find that same feeling they got the first time. Kind of like a drug addict. I like a lot of the newer m&m stuff better he's just has perfected his skills and technicality to a completely different level in my opinion. But I will never forget that feeling when I first listen to this song and some of the other ones. Saying goodbye to Hollywood is another really good one. That was right around the time that he was planning on quitting. And he talks about that and how it's affected his life. He says you don't understand I've had to give up everything. His life got turned upside down. Great reactions though

The annoying part of society today is rappers aren’t allowed to have the lyrical freedom they once did. The things Eminem rapped about if it was released today too many snowflakes would get offended.
Older hip hop is always better because they always had full freedom of expression. Eminems albums caused controversy but they were still released. Wouldn’t be able to do that these days.
