Kind of a sad and happy moment at the same time. The flashback here is her experiencing the same life flashback like all normal humans do when they die but it’s also her flashback leading up to her new birth as a vampire. Really enchanting.
It was. This scene is truly stunning and gives me goosebumps AND moves me to tears every time.

Bella’s last memories before her complete transformation made me feel really strange. Idk how to exactly put it into words but it made me feel happy and also really really sad. Happy that she’s entering a new chapter of her life and that she’s going to get to spend eternity with her new family but also really sad because she’ll never experience humanity again. It’s very bittersweet and beautiful and gave me a new appreciation for life. If only we could all live happily with our loved ones forever.

I like how they did this in the movie, I just wished with this scene they also stayed close to what happened in the book.
For example, in the book Jasper, Emmett, Carlisle, and Edward were in the room kinda ready for Bella to go all newborn savage mode. (with "little" Alice behind Jasper trying to get a peek at what Bella looked like.) They were all so ready and at the end impressed because she didn't act like a newborn! When they hunted for the first time Edward was SOO SHOOK at the fact that she ran away from human blood, all of them were shook and Jasper even had to rethink his whole life because in his early years as a vampire he's never seen a newborn act like that.
I also wished they showed a conversation Edward and Bella had one-day coming home to the cottage. Bella was ranting about Jasper and how he still hovered over her (she thought it was because Jasper didn't trust her yet with the whole newborn thing) but Edward explained to her that the only reason why Jasper was always around Bella because of how happy she was with her new family/life and subconsciously Jasper would gravitate over to her because her mood was so happy he wanted to feel that way too.

The moment i missed was the initial shock of the transformation, she apparently was meant to spring up and hang off the wall or ceiling, i forget which, then the whole running through the forest scene was meant to play out. it was meant to be supercharged bella from dot. but we had to wait for supercharged bella.
All of her memories revolves around Edward. No childhood memories. One scene with Jacob. Her friends 🤷🏽♀️

That was likely to have been a cost-cutting move: they could simply re-use footage from the previous films. And in the process, they could show how the entire series had been building to this point.

I'll be honest, I miss Twilight. Like reading the books for the first time and watching the movies cause I loved them. I watched Breaking Dawn part 1, 3 times when it came out in theaters. Just the experience of reading when made me so happy

When I saw this scene at the theaters when I was 12 and it first came out I cried my eyes out. Now I'm 16 and I still do.. The Twilight series was the best to be apart of. It always leaves me breathless. Such an amazing series. I miss it way too much..

I used to enjoy Twilight but then I realized it was like a bad fanfiction later on in life. Movies like Hunger Games and Maze Runner was more realistic. Twilight did however have beautiful music. The only scenes I enjoyed from the Twilight Saga was this scene and Alice's vision of the final battle. Those two scenes were very well thought out. The rest of the movie... Eh. Also Kristen's acting is still something to laugh at. No emotions what so ever.

The eyeshadow is meant to represent the fact that when you become a vampire you become much more beautiful, however it should have been a bit more subtle and not as obvious, I agree. I like this scene but I hate that they didn’t represent the suffering from the burning sensation that she felt during the transformation. Clearly it was extremely hard to display in a movie. But it was important in the book, it went on for a while
They did! In the movie when edward injected bella with the venom and bit her all over her body they did short little cuts where you can see bella internally screaming and writhing in agonizing pain! She definitely was doing the same in this scene but they also wanted to portray the beauty of her transition as well!

Her makeup in the whole series was excellent, from a young girl, for the prom, her wedding, and lastly her transformation into a vampire. The makeup people did a fine job.
When Bella’s eyes opened, everyone in the theater literally screamed (I did too). We had to wait a year for PT2!! People that watch the movies on a streaming services these days don’t know the pain. Lol

This series was such a prominent part of my childhood and early teen years. The first film impacted me so much that I watched it every night, and on stormy evenings when the sky was overcast, me and my older sister would run around in our backyard making "Woosh" noises to sound like vampires darting about lol. We even dressed up as James and Victoria that Halloween.
I first read the books at eight, then watched the movies at nine, not soon after. Being eleven now, I look back at all of this, and it's so amazing. I'm in my tweens now, and I enjoyed watching this as a "older little kid", if you know what I mean.

I always feel kind of sad when the whole flashback thing happens. Bella hasn’t had much of a life at this point, it should be full of many different things, all the highs and lows, everyone important to her etc. It’s 98% Edward and a couple of token flashes of Jacob and her parents. But it’s a teenage romance so guess it’s not surprising!
