2024-01-07 Fire next to Railway Lines - Kirwee, Christchurch

Fire and Emergency New Zealand, alongside helicopters and other emergency services, battle a large blaze stretching across over 5km alongside a railway line near Kirwee, Canterbury.
Thanks to the emergency services for their hard work, of which many are volunteers, to protect properties.
