using 2 solar panels, one 6v for charger one 5v for the 5v relays . I did not want the relay to take away power from the solar panel for the charger and slow down the battery charge time. so I gave the relay its own panel power source.

The relays have 5 connectors, 2 coil, 1 COM, 1 NO-when is the relay coil connected, the NO is connected to COM and 1 NC-when is the relay coil disconnected the NC is connected to COM. He connected the led module to NC ( normal closed )
The 12v relay cut the voltage from the source to the led when sun energize the panel because the output of the pan el solder directly to the relay coil

Why protection not used in tp4056 board.. You should solder out +/- instead of both wires to bat+/-

using 2 solar panels, one 6v for charger one 5v for the 5v relays . I did not want the relay to take away power from the solar panel for the charger and slow down the battery charge time. so I gave the relay its own panel power source.

Tp4056 can handle up to 8v. Charging via 6v mini solar panel is ok.
