      Also I don't know if this kind of style is also something that you do since most videos are more to the industrial side of techno with much rumble etc.
      You also do or would like to do some project on YT in this style for example:
      YGNOR - Your Love Gets Me High
      AL Sinatra - I Got Lo**
      Nay - Dance All Night
      Mostly without rumble and more "clean" sounds with reverse bass and/or psy bass + this dnb rythmics/buildups and melodic/rap vocals?
      Would really love to see something of you in this style.

    Insane kicks, amazing tutorial, subbed! So what’s the best way to get that really dense sausage in the front part of the kick? Is just pitch down and distort? And it seems you don’t use Ableton’s drum buss?

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  2 месяца назад +1

      Thank you! Yes distortion and stacking samples really dense in frequence. I do use the drum buss sometimes. It could work and sometimes not. The danger with the drum buss is that it can overcompress everything so it must be used with caution (I usually lower the trim and I don't push the wet knob to 100%).

There are also no FL Tutorials out there so i switched to ableton suit. Im a bit new to music production and I was told that when the bar of the master(main channel) appears red, thats an issue, because it causes clipping and the sound that your speaker and headphones will reproduce will not be clean. I see your main bar also is red when playing the kick is this not a problem or?

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  2 месяца назад

      You are right but yes it only applies to the master channel. The other channels are "unlimited" which means if you go in the red but you then have a limiter or volume is reduced on the group channel, avoiding the master bus to be in the red, then it's ok. Maybe I didn't check every time on this tutorial but I think I've put a limiter. Hope it makes sense!

    Yo graph… watched this video and I am getting some amazing sounds. My bass however is lacking the pumping woofy sub frequencies that a psy bass has… any recommendations on what I should do? I am an FL studio user and I am following you on serum.

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  5 месяцев назад

      @@JoeyTribbiani_HYD Hey! Do you want a psy bass offbeat or a rumble? Generally it’s about compression/equing
      Your psy bass needs to resonate a the right frequency range in the Bass and sometimes pushing the limiter can help
      The rumble is a mass of sub and must be strong/compressed enough so that the sound is full from 40 Hz to around 2-300Hz, combining a rumble and a reverb gate can help you getting that result sometimes
      Hard to explain like this but if you need more details you can contact me on Instagram

    • @JoeyTribbiani_HYD
      @JoeyTribbiani_HYD 5 месяцев назад

      @@graphmusic I need more rumble yes. My bass style of choice is similar to the result you produced on your Sikoti tutorial, only with my own twist. I am genuinely so close to getting the result I have been looking for for so long. When you say add a rumble to my bass, do you mean layer a rumble sample or create more rumble with EQ? Sorry if that sounds silly, I’m still learning but these videos are helping me so much.

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  5 месяцев назад

      @@JoeyTribbiani_HYD both could work. Either you use only a psybass but this one has to be full so you must push the limiter/compression/eq to have enough sub. Either you can layer a psybass + a rumble layer (with a clear sub that doesn't clash). I will show you this in an upcoming video

    Hello, tu peux m'expliquer comment tu as record tous ton process de kick pour faire juste un sample de kick à a fin stp :(

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, tu créés une nouvelle piste audio. Dans la source audio (menu déroulant à droite dans le mixeur) tu sélectionnes resampling (pour enregistrer le master), ou bien directement le channel du groupe de kick que tu veux record. Puis tu armes la piste (petit rond à droite de la piste qui doit passer en rouge). Enfin tu appuis sur le bouton "enregistrer" au milieu tout en haut de la fenêtre, cela doit enregistrer et créer un sample. Si jamais ce n'est pas clair (difficile par écrit), passe en mp sur SoundCloud 😉

    Maybe a dumb question but how do you make one sample from your kick from all the audiochannels you used? You showed that on the end of the video but I dont know how I can make it like a kick sample

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  2 месяца назад +1

      You mean to record the whole group to create a sample out of it? For that, just create an audio channel, instead of the ext. in mode on the channel, choose "resampling" then put the record button of the channel in red, and click on record at the top of Ableton. I do it in the video at 5:45. Feel free to dm me if it's not clear, I hope I've answered your question!

    • @graphmusic
      @graphmusic  Месяц назад

      @renzosuijker1421 either you have to record the channel directly by choosing the input, or you can record you master Channel with resampling
      If you have effect on the group Channel containing the audio Channel that record then it can affect the sound
      Also the 1st bar in ableton arrangement changes the sound at the beginning I don’t know why, so record in the 2nd bar to avoid this issue
