My wish to meet korey one day. That's my biggest wish I am a cancer Survivor and korey would be a blessing for surviving my battle and hugging him for his love and power he gives to all of us. Bless his beautiful heart
Derp. I think you mean something like 'a wise man is always a humble man'? I can think of plenty of very humble (very) stupid people. Proper form, use, and accuracy of language has to be one of the most underappreciated disciplines of our time. Developed language is a very fine thing, but it is not a luxury. Words are becoming overused-meaningless drivel. Slopped out and thrown around for emotional gratification. Like any form of spiritual masturbation, or other form of entertainment. Consider figures of speech such as...'they've tried hard, but missed the mark'.
@@KHEM-MECCA See? You haven't missed the mark at all. You say what you mean. Alice O'Connor said greed is a virtue. Controversial. Could ignoring be virtuous? Is ignorance a virtue? Idk? Controversial, but maybe I get what you mean. I'm picturing your avatar with eyes closed and fingers in your ears. Like children do. I'm just a lobster. Derp.
Korey Wise's story touched me so bad when i first saw the movie "when they see us" and i couldn't keep it together. everytime i look at the brother, i'm sure moved with love and deep empathy. i can only imagine how awful it is to be imprisoned (I've heard how bad the experience can be, in South African prisons) when you are just a lil' man but, here is a Korey, who did not break... #Life after death. i sure feel the pain, but more than anything i feel the love he shares with us all - through his smile, his words, his presence but most of all... his personality - such an inspiration. love you Korey Wise... all the way from South Africa
This was both beautiful and heartbreaking… Although a courageous man, you can tell he’s broken but it’s beautiful of him to share his story with these young intelligent lovely people.
Wow; that part about STILL being threatened from inmates right before being released 😢😢😢. The Duvernay series really was just 70% of what he went through. Goodness.
@sade obrien I just heard that she has a husband in prison. Don't know cause I know you can't believe everything you hear but I still hope he is doing better.
I don't live in the US but I would feel honoured and blessed to meet Korey Wise in person. His insight and good heart is refreshing and confirming that truly Korey was protected during the time he was persecuted. I'm touched by Korey's story. And I admire him for staying in New York and for him knowing where is home. And for his project to heal the less fortunate people. Bless you Korey.
I just watched the whole film I cried straight for hour. My heart aches for what he suffered. I am sorry for your suffering. It is the most powerful example that we as a society need to look at what the fuck we are doing and what is wrong and we need to make solutions on how to improve.
The point of the series was to cloud your judgement with emotions so that when their recorded confessions were released you would DISMISS their own statements about what occurred that night in the park.. You never even knew there were recorded confessions because the 5 fought to keep them sealed..
i was born in 79, so i was infatuated with this case since i was 10 years old, i grew up i always thought about them. & when google came out they were probably the first thing i googled. happy for these guys so happy they finally got out. 💯
I hope that NOT everyone is free doesn’t go over these college students or anyone’s head. You can be physically free and still mentally free. That’s real!
i think they were quite prepared. Korey is a sweetheart of a man but interviewing him wouldn't be easy. He was beaten up so much, he must have severe physical and cognitive damage. Its a strain for him to answer certain questions.
I also think he really ain't that good with speaking that's y most of the time he don't say much an they are using alot of big words for him to understand am thinking so he is try n to answer the questions the best way he can an the best way he understand an that's OK its very sad tho
It’s the same as most of the incoherent, emotional and undiscerning and unsophisticated comments on here. But yes, inarticulate softball questions. The fiction drama had as bunch of virtue signaling Emmy’s. How does that make you feel? “Blessed”. This is some low brow meaningless stuff.
Who was he talking about when he said, his boy left him for dead? I'm sure it sounds silly I'm just trying to learn and understand. God bless you Korey, in Jesus name
He was talking about yusef...but yuself was a child himself yusefs mom was a real bitch that didn't care about the other boys at the time ....but as a kid, not understanding there was nothing his friend can do about it, he felt abandoned by his friend
The question about him regretting not staying at the chicken spot is almost useless. No said they saw him at the park or mentioned him, he was only thought of because he went to the station with his friend. They didn’t question Korey until they realized he was left in the station because his friend didn’t say mom Korey is with me. Korey could have walked out at anytime but those detectives most likely came down stairs saw him and knew they had one. Korey can’t follow the questions
Korey went through hell in prison, and I’m sure that first beating he took and they dragged him off into that room that he was rapped. We only saw a small part of what he went through.
How do you know he's high? Is he acting a bit "different"? Yes. But he's always like that in his interviews. I know he has a disability of some sort. I've heard partial deafness. I've heard a learning disability. I will say that he seems more neurologically damaged than he seemed in his youth/confession video. I'm curious if maybe he suffered a severe head injury or TBI when he was in prison.
My wish to meet korey one day. That's my biggest wish

Esther Janssen I have been through so much shit in my life at such a young age too and my dream is now to meet him as well
I pray that you will. He's a great guy. Much love to you. I don't know you but you are in my prayers beloved.
A humble man Is always a wise man.. After all Korey has been through he is humble and calm.. Beautiful man.

The movie is propaganda ..complete bed of lies. The truth doesn't ring.

@sade obrien I just heard that she has a husband in prison. Don't know cause I know you can't believe everything you hear but I still hope he is doing better.
@sade obrien yes he does. Sounds like he still sees the wrong people as his friends.
@sade obrien that's messed up as hell. He is still stuck on stupid. He needs some serious prayer

Korey you inspire me with your strength
They police know he wasn't fully understanding wat they were doing, it's so sad he went through all that he is a king!
Is that really his brother that gave the intro? They look and talk the same and have a New York accent too

I think in a few years he will become better with trying to tell his story, when your in jail your mind thinks different.
they seemed extremely unprepared with the questions and the structure of this interview.
I think they was shocked after they watched the movie, its hard to look at someone when you have seen what they went through.
i think they were quite prepared. Korey is a sweetheart of a man but interviewing him wouldn't be easy. He was beaten up so much, he must have severe physical and cognitive damage. Its a strain for him to answer certain questions.
