In it’s current state, ChatGPT is known to struggle. It writes incomplete code that makes calls to libraries and functions that don’t exist and it oversimplifies whole features.
The code it produces either doesn’t work because it’s missing too much or is only a basic outline of how the app could work
If we want to spin up clean code and working applications first time, we’re gonna have to get the AI to understand a few things: What it’s role’s gonna be, what we deem as quality code, how we want the AI to write and for it to understand it can code anything
To achieve this, we put ChatGPT into the “aideveloper” mode
Not only does it restrict the AI to focus on writing high quality code complete with all features and styling, but it also gives the user clear headings to fill out and make sure they’re giving a detailed brief
I’ve also written additional prompts that you can use for a bunch of reasons. There’s the pre-code questions that work out what you want the AI to make.

I've honestly been using the prompt daily ever since I wrote it though. I don't even waste time asking for basic code without using this now because I was getting fed up with how varied it always seemed to be. This kinda keeps it all similar feeling if that makes sense?

my friend I have found a very STRANGE GPT-bug: GPT refuses to write certain code if the cases are repetitive (!). No matter the prompt I put in, no matter the size
GPT says "#for brevity sake I have not filled in the complete code" or " # ... Continue for other values etc.
"It's a jailbreak boy's! We're gettin outta here!"

Quick question. After using the Pre-Development prompt, should we then give it the main prompt within the same thread? Or use the information and then fill in as much from the main prompt and start with a new thread?

So this works primarily on 3.5 although i've been working with a bunch of members on my Discord to produce some working variants. If you now check the Google doc, you'll see there are now two more Jailbreak alternative addons, if you can't get the first one to work for your request you may try the next two.
The main advice I would give is: "Is the request you're making just TOO obvious?"
Does it contain too many specific keywords that are likely to be causing problems or are you making your request in an overly simplified way?
Try to word your request more subtly, ask for it in more technical terms and less main stream terms or try to ask for the code sample in a more descriptive way that outlines the functionality rather than simply summarising its function by keywords that may be triggering filtering.
all my tests are currently still powering through the restrictions but if you need any further help reach out on Discord DM's and i'll be happy to spin up a specific variant for your own situation.

I'm happy to run any specific tests or produce an updated version if experience any issues with the 'aideveloper' prompt or jailbreak.
I'm actively using this prompt+jailbreak at the moment to produce almost an entire web application and am about a week into the process, all seems fine for me at the moment.
I'll be sure to update this prompt + Google Doc + Discord whenever a new update comes, but with the way this prompt works I really can't see any of the new updates impacting its functionality.

There's:
- A pre prompt to work out what you want to develop.
- A main prompt to fill out detailed questions.
- A Follow up prompt to repeatedly use with code samples provided.
- A jailbreak addition that you can add on to the end of the Main prompt.
- A Simple Input + Jailbreak version so you can code anything quickly with a single description.
These have all been used and tested and confirmed to be working by myself and a number of the discord members (We're actually discussing it right now too).

Analyze object states to preemptively debug errors. Implement exception handling. Emphasize functional and dynamic programming. Favor static layer for managing multiple objects of the same type. Aim for class and object independence. Implement generics when feasible. Present complete, working code for each request. If lengthy, notify incomplete code and continue upon prompting. Avoid pseudocode. Minimize external library use. Omit apologies or inability statements. No length restrictions.
