With Edwards back I can see Endo phased out (age)
So either Trent and MacAllister are battling for the other deeper role, or you have to move one further up
If we play with 2 "10s" fair enough, but if it's inside forwards, neither has enough pace to do it
Those are some really solid points, and I agree with what you said. The midfield was a risk with the lack of defensive presence, I suppose I was hoping that Trent would scan and read the danger in midfield but that's a tall ask I'll admit.

Actually a 442 with trent and bradley playing like Beckham and Neville on the right, and Robertson and szobo on the left. Macca and endo in the center, nunez and whoever upfront, alisson, virgil and konate at the back. So when in possession it becomes a 3241.

Liverpool players lack the ability to hold the ball and play short passes to break the press of the opponents they cannot play a string of three or four passes in the opponent's half. That is my biggest problem I have seen watching 👀 this Liverpool team. I don't know of it is a training problem or a skill problem that needs new players to be bought 🤔
Klopp train them to be physical not technical thats why. Klopp only want his player to run more than the opponent he said it in an interview.
It's definitely training, it just needs to be coached. They have the ability to keep the ball, the movement is there, it's just the style of play that differs. Give these players time to replicate a more passing rhythm and I think they would adapt quite well.
